I need to be able to press a push button switch but have the circuit open faster than I can remove my finger. This is connected to a multivibrator which is set for a very fast pulse but the pulse is not consistent because the pushbutton stays down longer than the pulse would be, extending the pulse.

I know in industrial engineering you work in business and analyze products and their efficiency, but that sounds kinda boring. Is there anyway that this can be used in the entertainment industry. Music, television, event coordinating??? I just want to know an exciting field of industrial engineering.

I would like to use some small DC motors to turn a gear. I have noticed there are some different ways to attach a gear, such as a c-clamp. I am not really familiar with doing this, so I want to try to find the best way to do it generically, I am working with a lot of surplus parts.
