Isn't thread pitch so many threads per inch?

So...one turn is one thread, which is one thread per however many threadds there are per one inch.

A fastener that has 10 threadds per ince, has one thread that gives 1/10 of an inch per that thread.

a) Time taken by the train to reach Barcena= 90/60 hours = 90 minutes. As spped of bird is more, it will continue flying back and forth for 90 minutes with 90 miles per hour. So Total distance the bird travels= 90* 90/60= 135 miles. b) They will meet at time t given by: 60t + 90 t= 90 t=9/15 hours = 36 minutes. As the spped of train is more, it will reach Bercena first. So the bird aftet meeting the train at a distance of 36 miles( 60* 36/60) will simply get back. So total distance= 36*2= 72 miles.
