according to science's own laws, spontaneous generation is impossible (see Louis Pasteur), so my question is, if life HAS to come from pre-existing life, and all cells HAVE to come from pre-existing cells (one of the three rules in the cell theory), where did the first life and the first cells come from? it makes no sense to me how life just seemed to pop up out of nowhere. that's why i believe that religion has a small bit of truth to it. but for the love of all things human please DO NOT give me an answer that basically says "god said let there be life and 'poof' there was life." i am not a religious person, i am actually very scientific, which is why i am asking SCIENTIFIC people for a SCIENTIFIC answer.

Choose three of the following bioethical issues. Explain both sides of the issue (views of those in favor of the practice and those opposed to the practice) and then give your viewpoint and explain why you hold that view. In your explanation, use Scripture to support your viewpoint.
1. In vitro fertilization
2. Stem cell research
3. Cloning
4. Assisted suicide
5. Euthanasia

P.S: It's up to you if you want to do more or less than three.
Thanks guys in advance for your answers.

Could you include steps in how you found the answer?

4x^2+2x-3 - 2x^2-5x-3

Simplify:
(x-7)(x+3)-x^2+6

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or do you think we are the only living beings in this entire universe? Sometimes I think; Why would God create a universe so big and so beautiful with so many planets and so many galaxies for no one or nothing to live there? Maybe it is because we have not expanded our minds and thought of possibilities in life that we don't have the technologies they may have if they are real to travel to our planet from millions of light years away, cause we are always thinking inside the box. We only think of things that are logical and whatever doesn't fit our standards of logic and " right " is not possible. Maybe that is why we don't have the technology to beat cancer, aids... Anyway, do you believe in extraterrestrials?

So if the earth and the moon had their current size, but equal weight (or density not sure how to define), would we weigh the same. As it stands now, you can bounce around on the moon. I am curious as it relates to dinosaurs roaming the earth. Something must have happened (cosmically) to the earth that allowed things to get that large. I dont think they just evolved that way. I often wonder if the earths weight has changed over time (weight of meteors over millions of years) effecting the gravity on the earths surface, phasing out larger creatures. But I dont even know if it's the earths actual size or weight (or maybe even spin) that holds us to the surface. Thanks!!!

Solve for x:
(2^x) + (3^x) - (4^x) + (6^x) - (9^x) = 1

Pretty hard when x is the exponent isn't it?

This has nothing to do with the question, but can someone tell me how to get exponents easily here. I can copy-paste exponent numbers from Microsoft Word easily, but not exponent variables like x.
When I paste 2^x from Word, it looks like 2x here.
But 2² is still 2².
