If you can only use Scripture (note the capitalisation), does that mean that they only want religious viewpoints on both sides of the argument?
Assisted suicide is the same as euthanasia in my opinion, it differs only in name.
IVF has helped normally infertile couples have healthy children, it is expensive, may result in unwanted or unaffordable multiple births, can be used by lesbian couples to become parents, using donor sperm, is unheard of in scripture, so is not really ethically incorrect, but it includes sperm collection by masturbation, which is frowned upon by the Bible.
Stem cell research has several main forms. Using stem cells from foetuse, adults and cord blood.
From foetuses, cell yield is very good and cells are pluripotent, and many cell lines for different organs can be derived. This offers a good potential for growing new organs, cell types (such as pancreas cells, liver cells, kidneys etc). The downside is that you must kill a living baby to get the cells, there is no other way to collect the cells this is the main objection by the Catholic Church to its use, that as humans we have no right to decide on the life or death of another. It is this same belief in the sanctity of life which is applied to foetal experimentation, to abortion, to euthanasia and to the death penalty. There is no justification for exceptions.
Adult stem cells are very poor in yield, are harder to grow and may not have the pluripotential lines as foetal cells, however, you don't need to kill the adult to get the cells, so there are no ethical conflict to be overcome.
Cord blood contains many stem cells, since it is baby's blood, it is easy to collect, and, since it is going to be discarded anyway, is using a resource which would otherwise be wasted. The yield is lower than foetal cells for organ cells, but high in pluripotent blood stem cells. It is most useful in place of bone marrow transplantation for leukaemia sufferers. Again there are no ethical dilemmas, since there is no harm to the child when the cord blood is collected, since the baby is already safely born.

stable question. Yahoo actual has a rule that an answer is had to adress the question. occasion: What colour is the sky? answer: i like airplaines. besides the certainty that "i like airplanes." isn't, for sure, offensive, it fails to adress the question in a mildly sufficient way. If readers flag it, yahoo has a mechanism which will get rid of your answer or question (now and back with none approved guy or woman actual checking it and pulling the plug on it, I assemble). Flags are a device and you may't flag in case you abuse it and flag inappropriately, menacingly. (i think of it downgrades the fee of a flag whilst it comes from somebody who flags inappropriately). Yahoo's mechanism has a manner of checking your trend of flagging people too. long answer, yet, "i do no longer." is fantastically much the comparable as purely answering somebody's question by employing typing "hi." for sure, it in all hazard attracted countless flags. i do no longer understand the two, the call of the music, yet whilst i wanted to respond to, i could have contributed "i'm questioning of elvis and a on line casino for some reason." in spite of the fact that includes thoughts is now and back powerful. And it extremely is not going i could have been flagged, even even with the undeniable fact that i did no longer extremely understand the respond the two.
