I have a 5.5kW 3 phase motor (415v) on a vacuum pump.
We have measured the amps on each phase with a clamp meter and have found two phases are around 9 amps whilst the third is measuring 10.6 amps. The motor is configured in Star (one strap across three of the terminals).

Is this difference enough to cause a problem?
What would the problem be? Noisy, alternating speed??
The motor name plate states amps as 13.5. Will this be full load current? Typically how many amps would you expect a motor to draw if the full load current was 13.5 amps.

Any help very much appreciated as we are going to begin dismantling the vacuum pump any minute now and don't want to if the motor is suspect. Still got Christmas shopping to do / start!

Thanks in advance.

As we all know, because of market psychology when stocks increase in price on one day, they tend to decrease in price the next day. A payoff matrix shows the pertinent percents.

Now here's the payoff matrix.

If today the stock price increases, then the likelihood it will increase tomorrow is 0.2 and the likelihood it will decrease tomorrow is 0.8.

If today the stock price decreases, then the likelihood it will increase tomorrow is 0.6 and the likelihood it will decrease tomorrow is 0.4.

So the question is, in the long run, what fraction of the time will the stock increase in price?

Im not referring to approximations. Anyone can guess a number and methodologically modify it for accuracy. Im talking a real algorithm or equation of what have you that was used for sole purpose of determining the value of e, not validating it or verifying it. How was the number originally computed? What mathematical background and conceptual basis was necessary for this technique?

1. Is it possible to have an equilibrium with AgCl dissolved in water where there is more Ag ions then there are Cl ions ?

2. in the equilibrium, the Ag and Cl are forming solids at the same rate as they are dissociating into their ions

if statement 2 is correct and in statement 1 it is possible,
then how does it work? coz then when Ag and Cl form solid, there would be some Ag left over since only one Ag goes with each Cl

I know that whenever I'm thinking about or learning Astronomy or anything to do with it, I'm always reminded about how small and insignificant I am. It kinda sucks. It especially sucks cuz I love Astronomy so much, but it just depresses me. Anyone else?

My heater in my house does not work so I purchased two small electric heaters. I just received a power bill for $400. On the bill it says I used an average of 50 kwh per day and last year I only averaged 15 kwh per day. Could those small heaters really make that much of a difference?
