I went to an alternative college (not a bad one) and kind of beat around a lot of bushes before really finding out that I really want to pursue hydrology. Unfortunately, I really didn't major in anything (that kind of college) though I have taken a lot of cool classes (some geology, physics 1 and 2, calc 1 and 2, stats, hydrogeology, and some independent studies working on some hyrologic models). I am making a groundwater model for my senior thesis and have done some cool research over the summers. Because of a rough start to college, I probably only have a 3.5 or 3.6 cumulative GPA (If I were to have one). Should I start looking into and applying to the programs I am into or start taking the engineering classes I probably should have taken in my undergrad.

I just found that out, I wonder what could be the cause.

I know one way, some of our water isn't filtered properly and some of the birth control chemicals are in that water. The chemicals get there from the sewage. Women only use 10% of the substance, the the rest is released.

That can't be the only problem, infertility is happening all-over the world.

I have been reading about the Mississippi river and all the folks that thought they had found the headwaters. I have been there and there are hundreds of lakes in that region, each fed with from streams. How do you determine which stream from which river is the source?

It's difficult to answer certain questions when we don't know which you are...especially when the name can be either too. Not trying to "pry or spy". This is just for those who are willing. Thanks.

My birthday is August, 7, 1992. (8/7/92)
I've heard seven is a lucky number.
I think my life path number is seven but I'm not sure.
I'm having trouble figuring it out.
Anyone who knows how, please help!

I'm not sure which option is right for me. I can either major in geology with an emphasis in geophysics or I can major in applied physics with an emphasis in geophysics. I hope to attend graduate school, but I'm not sure whether I'll do that right after I complete my undergraduate degree.

Can anyone offer any words of wisdom? I'm leaning more toward geology at this point (because the field work and research opportunities sound a lot more exciting), but an applied physics degree seems more practical. I'm just not sure which degree would do a better job preparing me for future work, or whether that even matters.

I'd like a degree that'll open more doors than it closes.

What is in the DNA of cousins that will cause their kids to have birth defects? Is this just an old wive's tale? I'm sorry I just don't understand how it works. I thought human beings all pretty much have the same DNA so what difference does it make whether you marry your cousin or someone who isn't related to you? Isn't DNA or genetic material all the same?

quantum physics states that reality prior to obsvervation exist only as a non-local timeless probability of states(Copenhagen interpretation, bells theorem, schrodingers wave equation, and the apsect experiments)
Today all of this reveals the importance of consciousness and how it relates to "physical reality" Which exists as only a probable non-local timeless state prior to observation, further to say that "physical reality" can or does exist prior to human observation necessitates a primary or original consciousness to make the observation/state collapse. Deeper still, the consciousness must be said to have a non-quantum/physical quality or you will reach infinite descent which is not possible in a quanta/physical reality as quanta are finite therefore at the end of the chain of physical obsevation there must exist a nonquantum quality to the nature of concsiousness for the obseveration of physical reality. So it is logical to either dismiss all assumptions about empirical knowledge and the ablitity to know our nuniverse or we must accept the non-quantum and primary consciousness aspects that are required of physical reality both prior to and existent after the evolution of other forms of consciousenss and also that physical reality is dependent upon and to some extent determined by the primary/original and our own individal/self consciousness.
Therefore we should move into an area in which science takes the same objective aproach to conciousness as was done with physical reality if humans are ever to develop a thereoy of everthing?
Please critique this logic

Well- my fiance went to the doctor's today and apparently they injected with something. He recalls the name to begin with a T, he thinks. -_-;
He said the liquid was a grayish-clear color.
I just want to know if anyone by any chance would know the name of what they injected him with...
Also- it seemed to have made some sort of bruise appear on the area they shot it in. It's not really a bruise- it just looks like one he says.
*Sigh.* If anyone has any clues- I'll take any info. I'm just desperate to know what these doctors gave him...
If this helps: He suffers from some heart problems. (Enlarged Heart) and he has a slight case of pneumonia right now...
