Very easy English is used to write the book. But a certain Mathematical maturity and how we view our universe perspective is needed to fully understand and appreciate the book. I would say that middle school (7th 8th grade) is good but it is a fun read for everyone.

I'd say the same as the vastly thicker Gulliver's Travels.

One grade range to basically get it, a whole different range to understand the satire. :)

My algebra teacher made me read it in the 8th grade.
