It's difficult to answer certain questions when we don't know which you are...especially when the name can be either too. Not trying to "pry or spy". This is just for those who are willing. Thanks.

Also..those whose avatars are "neutral"...but the name doesn't tell if you're male or female. .

Mal and merc....I said it was only for those who are "willing". Some people don't realize it makes a difference. For a long time I thought a male person on here was female. I do think people talk differently to you according to what sex you are. I don't think it has ANYTHING to do with "discriminating". This is only for those who WANT to let us know.I don't open my profile because I've heard trolls ruin it & I don't want to lose my points.

I don't understand why this bothers some people. I'm female. I wouldn't want anyone talking to me as if I were a guy...or even thinking of me as one. What's happened to sexual identity pride???

mercu...I don't see ANY contradictions in what I've said. You know what...never mind. I'll delete this question and keep thinking the guys are girls.

It doesn't really matter what our secondary sexual characteristics are except to reinforce gender stereotypes, does it?

I will agree with you that there are trolls who like to ruin sections like these. I hate them too and I wish they would get off of their computer. However, you shouldn't answer a question any differently if a person is a male or a female. I believe that we all have the same curious ideas if we are all coming to this section to ask and answer questions. In case you want to know, I am a male. There I think that I have answered your question now.

I can't see how it would matter. If somebody has a question, they have a question...doesn't matter if they are female or male and how do you know that I'm even female just because I chose a "girl" photo?

Do you plan on discriminating against one gender and not the other? That just might be in violation of the terms of use; you should double check.

You might want to think on this a bit.

Well aren't you a nosy person...people have a right to remain anonymous if they choose to...in your profile why don't you display your information - you could be a male alien from Jupiter for all we know...

Edit: Denie...you do realise you've contradicted yourself about 10 times already...
