Me and my friends bought Mentos and Coke, but they said that they got news that someone died when these two were taken. And they said that there will be a reaction when any mint is taken with acid. I wonder if this is true.

I really do think I'd filp out and be in shock. So, I just wonder how they manage to stay focused.
Thanks.

My groundskeeper on Mars swears that a rather large asteroid will hit the red planet on January 30, 2008 - less than six weeks from today. Houston, how is this gonna affect the real estate value of my Martian villa? And where can I find a good cleaner to wash off the red gunk from the walls? Any advice will be deeply appreciated.

It's the shortest day (UK) today, but I'm pondering on the question of which is the longest night: last night, or tonight? Does last night and today make a day, or does today and tonight make a day? If that makes sense?! Could you explain why your answer is so please? Many thanks!

You know your telephone number (7 digits)

Take the first 3 digits
Multiply that by 80
Add 1
Multiply by 250
Add last 4 digits of phone number
Again add the last 4 digits of phone number
Minus 250
Divide them by 2

Surprised by the answer you get. What is that?

If I wanted to extract a compound which was dissolved in a mixture that contained both water and ethanol, what would be the best solvent to use? Am I correct in assuming that I need something which is not miscible with either water or ethanol? And might this be a problem as ethanol is miscible with polar and non-polar solvents?

Thanks

The gravitation has been explained to act as space time curvature. All different celestial objects create depression on a rubber sheet like universe. These pits have to be dynamic because 1. all the celestial objects are in motion and the pits created by them are also constantly changing. 2.All the galaxies are also moving away from each other so they are also constantly affecting the structure of the space time curvature. Then what is the rate of change of this curvature ? is it instanteous or it travels at the speed of light?. If it is instantneous then it must travel faster than light because the galactic distances are in light years. And if it travels at the speed of light then the gravitation has a finite speed.
