i'm not a guy but i would like to share a creepy situation:
i lived in this one house about 3 yrs ago with my (at the time) boyfriend.....well not long after we moved in I started seeing black shadows run across but I was never quick enough to catch it. I never shared that with anyone but one day my kids came to me and said that they seen something black run across and thought it was a person but nobody was there.
I immediately got chills because I never told them what I had been seeing and then for them to tell me the exact same thing was crazy. But i also noticed that after me and the bf moved in the house his personality changed.
One minute he was nice and the next he was 360 different. I was at the point of wanting the house and HIM sprinkled with Holy Water but it didn't take long for me to finally leave him and that spooky house.
Less than a year later guess what.....that very same house had mysteriously caught fire
So for me (as a female) I definately have had that experience

As a small child in the 1970's in New Jersey against my parent's rules I sneaked into the out lying woods past our street. The woods were a source of fun to my active mind and I liked to chase the rabbits and watch the migrating Canadian geese that rested in the creeks that flowed throughout the woods. There were several paths that led into a vast maze where you could get lost for hours. I always mentally visualized where I was going so I would always find my way back out. This particular day I saw a path I never had before and decided to follow it. I noticed several strange things but did not put them together until much later. The temperature of the air begin to drop, the ground became harder like it does in winter, it also became silent, I didn't hear the stream, the birds chirping, or any bug or animal sounds. The path suddenly opened up into a round circular area and a little shack stood about 50 feet in front of me. I was filled with immediate horror and to this day I'm not sure why-- but I ran. I ran as fast as I could with everything that was in me. I couldn't tell my parents or else I would get in trouble but I knew I had to tell someone. I was practically crying as told my big brother about a strange shack in the woods at which he laughed. He chastised me slightly for going in the woods alone but asked me to show him where it was. I didn't feel so afraid anymore with my strong big brother going with me. I could hide behind him. We went back to the spot and there was nothing there but a black burnt area. He asked me if I thought I was funny or if I was trying to pull some kind of joke. But in that moment I knew I saw a past object. Some kind of evil lurked there and was able to manifest itself to a receptive mind. My parents never had to worry about me sneaking in the woods. I never went back alone.

Yep, I heard a voice through a baby monitor say my daughters name; I assumed it was my wife. I went to work about an hour later and mentioned it to my wife, and she paled and gasped, because she heard the same thing through the door. We checked on my daughter and she was fine. She does claim to hear a voice from time to time though we never told her what happened. I am not a ghost/goblin/spirits type, so it is our assumption it was either angelic or demonic and we pray to keep us ahead of any bad forces at work.
