If someone asked me why the planet this 'feat' was performed on doesn't follow the same 'rule' I wouldn't know what to say. We're left with the impression the masses in general are irrelavant. In other words if mass is irrelavant, why is there not the same displacement of the earth or moon (where ever this trick is done) in the direction of the feather and hammer?

I don't know where to begin... I'm a very skeptical person and I don't believe in anything unless I see it.

The other night I was at my friend's apartment and something odd happened. I had a can of Red Bull and when I finished with it I put it down on the table. The table has wooden edges with glass in the middle. I didn't see it first but a few minutes after I put it down, my friend shouts "Look!" and I see the Red Bull can gliding across the table. There was a glass also on the table and the Red Bull can actually moved around the glass and stopped right and the edge.

i have tried thinking about every possible explanation: the windows were closed and there was no wind, there was nothing magnetic around and nothing possibly could have moved the empty can.

I just don't know what to think and I am the last person who would believe this if someone told it to me. Does anyone have any ideas?

Only once have I seen the sun touching the western horizon as the moon touched the eastern one. Statistically, is this unusual? Have you ever seen it?

Two adjacent sides of a rhombus are represented by 5x+7 and 6x-1. Find the value of x.

If y varies directly as x and y=24 when x=4, find the value of y when x=9.

Solve for x in terms of a, b, and c:
ax-3b=c

The line whose equation is y=4x+2 has a y-intercept whose coordinates are:
(1) (0,0) (2) (0,2) (3) (4,0) (4) (0,4)

Which equation represents the lin parallel to the y-axis and 4 units to the left of the y-axis?
(1) x=4 (2) x=-4 (3) y=-4 (4) y=4

how do you get the proof that f(X) = 3 and its derivative is 0, zero. I mean its obvious that its a constant and its derivative is always 0, but how do you prove it?

hint: by using (f(x + dx) - f(x) )/ dx as lim dx goes to 0
