There is no known toxicity associated with vitamin B12.

B12 has two known functions in the body. As methylcobalamin it serves as the cofactor for methionine synthase which remethylates homocysteine to form methionine (a component to the methionine cycle).

As hydroxycobalamin it is involved in the metabolism of methylmalonic acid. Methylmalonic acid is an intermediate in the metabolism of certain amino acids and in odd numbered fatty acids.

without b12 you feel tired. my hubby's uncle had his whole mood change he cut off ties to his family and acted totally different. he is now on b12 pills and is back to normal.

it helps ur body and makes u more energized it gets a the blood flowing through ur cardiovascular system. Your lymp system starts flowing better then ever. It really boosts ur energy. the only side effects I know of is if u take too much...which is never good with any medication
