the following article was posted to me by mail:

Sudarshan Reddy has theoretically proven the existence of a sub-atomic particle, which can travel at speed greater than that of light, thereby challenging one of the fundamental postulates of the "Theory of Relativity".

In his recent research paper submitted to the Institute of Advanced Physics (IAP) at Trieste ( Italy ), Sudarshan has proved the existence of a class of sub-atomic particles called "leptons",which can travel faster than light.

do u guys believe this is true? i dont know much about leptons and stuff, is it possible?

About three or four times a week (maybe more) a scene from a movie will pop into my head. I'll think about the scene for a few seconds then it's gone. Later that day or maybe the next day, I'll turn on the tv and that scene from the movie will be on or I'll land on it while channel surfing. This happens so often that it is blatantly obvious. If I try to purposefully think of a movie or a scene it doesn't work, then scene just has to pop in my head randomly. Does this mean anything?

I'd just like some reasoning and an explanation on how to do this question, you don't necessarily have to do it.

A hammer at the top of a roof slides from rest and falls to the ground at P. The roof is smooth and sloped at an angle of 30 degrees to the horizontal as shown in the figure below:
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff10/breakthiscycle/101-1.jpg
The roof is 10 meters long and its lowest point is 10 meters from the ground. Calculate:
a)to the nearest significant figure, the velocity of the hammer when it reaches the lowest point on the roof.
b)the horizontal component of its velocity when it strikes the ground.
c)the vertical component of its velocity when it strikes the ground
d)the angle that the velocity of the hammer makes with the ground.

Solve these homework questions for these kids? Especially the ones asking 10-20 questions, that's the whole assignment? Especially americans, we are already battling very hard w/ technilogical laziness and IQ's plummeting, why contribute to the problem? The SATs and college tests are really going to suk when you didnt learn how to do any of it on your own. . .
