Hi, I'm an Australian high school physics student currently studying the effects of high energy living upon the environment. As a physics student, I need to prove the steps I've made to reduce my household's carbon footprint with relevant physics equations/support. An example of this would be how reducing a hot water system's overall temperature would result in the saving of energy (q=mcT, reduce T to reduce q). Can anyone provide me with more examples pertaining to reducing household emissions?

I am aware that radio or television static is caused by backround radiation or something(more info on this would also be good).

How could I harness this, and what electrical components would I need?

Why everything in the Universe tends towards complexity ? Do you thing the Universe- I mean everything that exists - possesses some kind of intrinsic "conciousness"? By that I don't mean that sort of brain-dependent conciousness similar to human beings, but rather a consciousness far beyond that of human beings, one defined in terms of natural laws ?

I note that Nutrition News Focus and Journal of the American
Medical Association (April 21, 1999), seem to be taking the position that the link between dietary and blood cholesterol is not particularly strong.

Is this position generally accepted by scientists or to appease some pressure groups? Pray tell.

i can come up with the general formula for the DE but since there are complex eigenvalues and eigenvectors i get lost when converting it to sine and cosine, just wandering if there is a simpler way to this without expanding out the whole equation and then simplifying.

an example is:

x' = 3x -5y
y' = 4x -5y
