I love physics very much, from its theory to its math and everything about physics! (well, maybe not the electricity part). But i seriously hate chemistry!! All the chemical equations and such drive me mad. The problem is, i'm thinking of taking a mechanical engineering degree without taking Chemistry as an A Levels subject. Is it doable? I mean, is Chemistry a prerequisite for mechanical engineering?

Oh by the way, do i need to learn stuffs like electricity or electronics thingy majingy for mechanical engineering??

Where does the volume of water go when the level gets low in one particular body of water, and what is the basis for estimating the lenght of time when the water comes back to that body of water, untill it returns almost near to its former level (highest ). What causes very low tide and very high tide incidents. Are there material losses between changes of events ? Thank you.

I'm writing a story right now and in it someone is stabbed, very briefly, with a saber. Think like a marine's saber. It goes in enough so four or five inches is sticking out the back of the person, then it is withdrawn. Is it possible for someone to survive such a wound? Like, if it misses the organs. If it's not possible with a saber but with another sword I'd gladly change the type of sword in question.

If medicine isn't the best place for this(it's an odd question and I'd think somebody here would be knowledgeable about human anatomy enough to know this) where would be a better place? I mean, it is an odd question.

Alright, silly question, but I'm sure I've done it a day when I've forgotten to take it (been on Celexa for about 5 months now, 40 mg a day). However, I haven't slept tonight and I took my multivitamins, an ibuprofen for a headache, and as I swalled I mustve slipped two Celexa in because I was taking em' all at once. Now, not thinking until after I swallowed and realized I did so unknowingly, are there any dangers or anything to worry about? Ive never had side effects with this medicine, but again Im just wanting to make sure. I'm sure on a day when I've been unsure if I've taken one I've had 2 and still felt fine. Although, insight is helpful! thank you!
