Why do humans have different faces but all animals of their own species shares the same face? Like, dolphins all look the same, monkeys all look the same (specified to species level), dogs, etc?

Look closely, and you'll see they have faces too. Most people just aren't observant, or pay attention to the detail right there. They do have different faces, no two animals of the same species are the same - unless twins deprived from the same zygote (ie: Twins... triplets... etc), then variation is little.

Because you are human... if you were that species you would ask: Why does my species look different yet all the other species look the same?

There are subtle differences between all members of species, you just happen to notice the difference in human facial features. Have you never heard anyone comment, "All those (insert race here) look alike to me?" This person just hasnt yet to learn the subtle differences among that race.

We probably don't study the faces enough to tell the difference. If you've ever had a pet, I'd bet you'd be able to pick your pet's face out of a lineup of other animals in that species.

It has allot to do with the fact that humans populate most of the Earth. We are much more diverse and our gene pool is vastly larger than that of animals. Also, human genetics are more complex than that of animals.

Some animals have certain traits and characteristics, they are not all the same.

Apes like chimps have different faces. It is probably because we need a way to help identify ourselves since we lost much of the ability to smell and became group hunters.
