well apparently many ships started to disappear mysteriously in that triangle for certain period of time! but many say that this was because the amarican army was conduting some weird experiment out there in that period of time. dunno how much of truth is there in that theory. no ships have disappeared these days. the disapperings only occured for certain period of time not anymore.

The boundaries of the Triangle vary with the author; some stating its shape is akin to a trapezium covering the Straits of Florida, the Bahamas, and the entire Caribbean island area east to the Azores; others add to it the Gulf of Mexico. The more familiar, triangular boundary in most written works has as its points Miami, Florida; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and the mid-Atlantic island of Bermuda, with most of the accidents concentrated along the southern boundary around the Bahamas and the Florida Straits.
The area is one of the most heavily-sailed shipping lanes in the world, with ships crossing through it daily for ports in the Americas and Europe, as well as the Caribbean Islands. Cruise ships are also plentiful, and pleasure craft regularly go back and forth between Florida and the islands. It is also a heavily flown route for commercial and private aircraft heading towards Florida, the Caribbean, and South America from points north.
The Gulf Stream ocean current flows through the Triangle after leaving the Gulf of Mexico; its current of five to six knots may have played a part in a number of disappearances. Sudden storms can and do appear, and in the summer to late fall the occasional hurricane strikes the area. The combination of heavy maritime traffic and tempestuous weather makes it inevitable that vessels could founder in storms and be lost without a trace — especially before improved telecommunications, radar, and satellite technology arrived late in the 20th century

The Bermuda Triangle is an area between Florida, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico, where many planes and ships have "mysteriously" disappeared. As with many other "mysteries," this myth was just a series of seemingly unexplainable events that were taken out of proportion, and, believe it or not, many vessels and aircraft still travel through the Triangle to reach their destinations.

That many ships/planes/equipment that has gone into its borders have never been seen again. If ever recovered, the instruments of transport have not been working.
This is because of it strong magnetic pole there, eg like a ley line.
Also if you do survive going there, eg on a jet plane, there is always an unknown dot on the radar, a bogey or whatever you call them and people get chased by them but when someone comes out of the Bermuda Triangle if they survive and don't disappear the bogey just vanish!
Another definition of the Bermuda Triangle is like a Black Hole, because they don't know where things go when caught in it.

It is a old wive's man tale. There are no more disappearances that occur in the bermuda triangle then on other areas of the ocean.
For disappearances that did occur, in many cases was during inclimate weather such as storm or hurricane which are frequent to that area of the atlantic while in other cases ships that went missing were reported but not striken from the record when they turned up at another port.

Given below are the recent disappearences of aircraft over the bermuda triangle;
Piper PA-46-310P N444JH on April 10, 2007, near Berry Islands.(under investigation)
Piper PA-23 N6886Y on June 20, 2005, Between Treasure Cay, BI, to Flort Pierce, FL (possible foul weather)
Piper PA-32-300 N8224C, November 12, 2003, over the Exumas, Bahamas. (No known cause)
though nearly a thousand books might have been written on the subject some claiming to have seen aliens in the very area some considering it as a confluence of magnetic energies,none has been able to scientifically prove anything.only hollow theories are put forward with no truth or truth covered under layers of doubt.

The bermuda triangle is continually hit with strange storms and hurricanes and rogue waves. some people say that the magnetics of the section can regulate navigational gadgets, yet i think of the jury is out on that one. a guy (I forget approximately his call) that soloed around the atlantic via sail talked to the captain of a delivery barge after he replaced into saved. To his dismay, the captain advised him that for the period of heavy seas, the barges lose super packing containers each and all of the time, and a great sort of of them do not sink yet flow merely below the floor of the water. in accordance to the captain, that, coupled with heavy sea site visitors in the section, is the actual clarification why people ran in to problems in the triangle. earlier the guy replaced into saved, he replaced into additionally horrified to locate whilst radioing the massive boat that they could not even see him with their radar, and he replaced into close adequate to be run over! Now that we've extra advantageous verbal exchange, you will notice that injuries in the section have decreased over the years. So, in fact no secret, yet anybody has their very own opinion (ball lightning, and so on).

Methane bubbles coming out of the ground that are large enough to sink ships, and even cause planes to crash. They did a test, and just one percent methane in the atmosphere is enough to cause a jet engine to stall out, and a plane to crash.
