I am curious what YOU think. Can it be done now? If not, when do you think it might be able to be done? I know large, planetary scale, terraforming might take a long time, but what about creating city sized enclosures and terraforming in there? What other planets and moons are realistic for terraforming? I was thinking like Mars, possibly the poles of Mercury, Ganymede, Triton. I am just very curious what others think about this topic.

If possible, put a link from your recource or a pic so I can compare them. (I tried whats that bug and all those sites. I would like a name, not a site where I have to answer tons of questions, Please)

I am now 32 and when I was in 7th grade (1987-88), I was taught both the theory of evolution and the theory of creation. At the time, I did not think that there was anything significant about the teaching of both of these ideas, but now I realize that it may have been unusual. So I am curious whether this happened to many others. If you were taught both evolution and creationism, please tell me what year it was (guess if you can't be 100% sure) and what city and state. By way of explanation, I am fascinated by the "fight" between evolution and creationism. Thanks.

I'm building a small coilgun (launches steel paper clips about a meter or two). Anyway, what I want to do is make it more powerful but with the same charging time (about 1 minute). I have four 1.5v batteries as the power supply and use the flash circuit of a used disposable camera to charge a 330v 120uF capacitor (originally belonging to the camera). I know that I should use larger capacitors to get more electricity into the coil. I tried using a 16v 10000uF capacitor which didn't work (I think this is because it takes too long too charge and didn't charge it long enough) and a 16v 4700uF capacitor that did sent a screw at a hammer about 3 cm away and bounced back (though I had to charge it for about 5 minutes, which is pretty long compared to the relatively short 1 minute for the camera flash capacitor).
So, any ideas on how to make the coilgun more powerful in less time (1 minute of charge should do)?

P.S.: Not sure if this is the category this question should be in.
