Trying to Conceive - October 2007

when i get aroused some white discharge comes out , is this a cervical mucus...or something else..? how will i know my mucus is all right i mean there is no antisperms in my mucus.

this may be really stupid but i wanted some opinions. my last period was like sept 22 or 23 and was gone before the 29( i know this because i looked at my work scheulde and i know on the 29 i had just stopped) well my husband and i have been ttc and i think my period is suppoed to behere....am i late yet? it feels like my period was gonna come yesterday but it didnt and i have weird cramps not as intense or regular as i usually do. and i usually cramp a week before my cycle everyday until it comes and that hasnt really happened.......what do yall think

Has anyone been diagnosed with PcOS and been able to get pregnate. If so was it difficult to get pregnate. How long did you try and what did you have to go through. Has anyone tried and tried and still not pregnate.

I just took a home pregnancy test and it came back with a faint (but definately there) positive line. It's only been 13 days since I would have conceived and I haven't even missed my period yet, I shouldn't start for another 4 or 5 days. I took the pregnancy test because i've been having really bad acid reflux and upset stomach for the last week, but I didn't expect it to actually come back positive. I also had a little cramping which I thought was weird because I don't usually get that until the day before I start my period. I am really trying to not get my hopes up because I've had problems trying to get pregnant and I've been let down before. Is 13 days too early to tell?? Should I go to the doctor tomorrow or wait a few more days?

Me and my fiancee are 23 and will be 24 when we get married. We boh have good jobs and a nice stable home. We've dated for a year and a half and known each ther for 3 years now. We plan on trying to get pregnant right after we get married. I really want to get married before I get pregnant but it's really hard to wait when so many people around you are having kids. I know a year isn't that far away but it seems like it when you want to be pregnant now. Right now we don't have any money saved up for a baby. We're gonna start saving in Jan of 2008. In a year we'll have $5,500 saved up to start trying to concieve. We'll have $13,000 saved up total around the time our baby would be born in like 2 years. I just want to know if anybody else has been in my shoes and couldn't wait to get pregnant? Did you end up waiting or did you give in to temtation?

my last period was September 2 i didn't get my period this month . I took a at home pregnancy test and it came back negative so i got the depo shot . Two days after i got my depo shot i saw alittle pink blood on the toliet paper. I've been experiencing nausea, breast are sore, back hurts, head aches , emotional, tired, peeing ALOT more then usual. My tummy is getting alittle puggy . I'm getting stretch marks on my hips and breasts. " Could I Be Pregnant????" I'm getting a blood test tomorrow. Just tell me what you think??"

My brother just rang and said his girlfriend took a pregnancy test this afternoon and looked at it 2 mins later ,there was nothing so she put it to one side a few hours later she looked at it againand there is a faint line ive told him to take another test in the morning. What do you think?

I am 18 years old and have very irregular periods my doctor keeps telling me that they will regulate with age but I've had my period since I was 12 and nothing has regulated at all. I have recently started putting on some weight in my mid section, above my hips and I have some dark hair on different areas of my body- toes, a little line on my tummy below my belly button, and recently I've been told I have higher blood pressure than normal (nothing dangerous just high for my age). Now I'm not trying to have a baby and won't be for many years but should I still talk to the gyno about me having PCOS? If I do have it and I'm not TTC will he still give me medication to regulate my cycle? Please help me I'm confused and getting really scared- thanks!

My older sister and I are sitting here talking and we need some advice- My sister thinks she has PCOS- she has been trying to conceive for about 6 months now with no luck- she has irregular periods, is overweight (and all her weight is carried in her mid section above her hips), and some dark patches of hair (like a happy trail on her stomach and a patch of light hair on her lowerback). She is about 5 foot 5 and weighs about 200lbs so in order to be in her BMI she should weigh about 150. Do you guys think she should loose weight first and then go to the gyno to be diagnosed with PCOS or should she get diagnosed and then attempt to loose the weight. Will having PCOS affect her ability to loose weight? Any help would be great.

Alright. My last period was 09/17, and I had a mishap on 10/5. My cycle is generally 29-30 days. Well on the 17th AM, I did a HPT test, it was negative. I've been having cramps the week prior and such, like my period was comming (yay), then later on the 17th around 6pm, I began brown spotting with some pinkish stuff. That was it. Then on the 18th, I picked up a little more, it was lighter red that usual, light of course, with some brown. It mostly showed when I wiped, but it covered the panty liner. It was still light for me, took many hours to cover the liner. Then that night, it tapered off all the way to a pink/brown discharge that only showed when I wiped and it stopped and has been stopped. My cramping is pretty much not around anymore. I was assuming it was possible implantation bleeding. When should I test again to see whats up because this is VERY unusual and I've had preg scares in the past and still got my full period and I was stressing out way more than this. Thanks!

If I have intercourse the day before ovulation, does the sperm have time to reach the egg??????

I tested positive for LH surge at 10am on my Clear blue easy digital ovulation test.

And it says to have intercourse that day u see the first smiley face, and the day after. ovulation happens 12-36 hours after surge is detected, so if i tested positive at 10 AM, then I could very well ovulate at 10 pm tonight???

I have seen people taking tests the next day to see if they conceived. How does that work? I dont' want to waste money but I want to know too. So when is the soonest after having sex that I could test and get an accurate reading?
