ok so my period was due yesterday, i'm never ever late. and all day today i have had a lot of discharge, i know gross but i don't get it. i'm starting to think i might be pregnant but i've takin a hpt adn it came back negative. what is up with this??

Remember, a negative result doesn't mean you aren't pregnant. If your period is only one day late you are either just late, or you are pregnant, but don't have enough pregnancy hormones in your system to register on the test. Wait at least a week and test again.

There are many things that can cause you to be late. Are you under stress? Losing weight? Exercising much? Change in diet or meds?
Take another test in 48 hours. If it is still negative and you are still missing your period, a doctor can make sure you are okay.
When I was 17, I stopped having my period and it was not pregnancy, it was a tumor on my ovary. I am not trying to scare you, I am just saying that you should have a doctor look at you if you have an abrupt change in your cycles.
It's probably nothing to worry about too much.
