Wow that is a lot. There is obviously something medical going on. The minute you find out you are pregnant they should be checking your progesterone levels. It sounds like maybe your progesterone is not high enough for you to carry a baby. This may be just one reason. I have had three miscarriage but never that many in a row. I am so very sorry to hear about your losses. Your OB should be giving you more answers. If it is progesterone it is really a simple thing they can help with. Good luck to you and lots of baby holding dust being sent your way!!!

Ok I am going to try to help the best I can. First off if you have a beta done as suggested it only shows the HCG levels in your body. That is the pregnancy hormone. If they think you have a hormone inbalance they would do other blood work to detect that. Also having 3 m/c that close together I would highly suggest that you see a diffrent doctor and they can test you and even a simple ultrasound could detect if there is a problem. Most fertility dr.'s concider you to have a problem after 3 m/c and with the right dr you could find out what is causing you to loose your pregnancys.I wish you all the best and sorry to hear about the loss of your pregnancys. I truley feel your pain!

I am so sorry for your losses. However there really isn't a way to stop a miscarriage. There could be something wrong with the embryos and this is natures way of saying it isn't ment to be. However, if you get pregnant again go to your OB the day you find out and have a Beta Quantative test done to see all of your numbers (hestrogen, and what not). Some miscarriages are caused when one of these hormones are not raising enough and a simple shot could possible help with this, if a Beta Quantative test shows that one of these levels drop.

At what point will the Dr's help? I think after 3 in that short period of time, I'd want to see if someone could help me find some answers. And a Dr. is the only one who will be able to tell you. There are many reasons for miscarriage. The problem could be chromosomal, hormonal, you may have fibroids, or your immune system may be causing them. You really won't know without medical tests. (((HUGS))) I'm sorry for your losses, and I wish you all the luck.

They can't help yet? When will they help? Miscarriage #11?

Get a new OB. Make sure this one specializes in miscarriage prevention/infertility issues. I don't know your specifics, but my sil did that after 2 miscarriages. The doctor put her on a low dose of progesterone, and she carried to term.

Best of luck!

tell your dr to put you on pregesterone in the first trimester.. sounds like that is what it is.. i had two back to back.. and thats what i needed, i now have a healthy baby boy. TTC#3.. anyways the progesterone is what carries the baby the first trimester, after that then the placenta takes over.. good luck!!
