I am on CD 24 or an irregular cycle (never less than 15 days, but never more than 31 days). I have one pregnancy test, a First Response. When should I use it, in your opinion?

I was going to wait until CD 30, but I'm not sure...

I am taking birth control beacuse i have pcos(polysistic ovarian syndrome) which means with out my BC i wont have a period.
what i want to know is.....

if any of you out there has done this, and if so then will i be able to stop bc, and have a regular period since ive been on bc so long and then be able to concieve???


or will i have to take fertility drugs??

I just want to know because i dont want to get off bc, try to concieve, think im pregnant, and then realize its just my PCOS!!!

yesterday there was very very very light pink discharge but only when i wiped. today this morning its was a little more and then today when i wipe there is like medium blood and like a spot of blood on my pad(sorry i know thats gross). i am 4 days late is my period arriving?

What is the longest you tried to conceive?

Me and my DF been trying since June 2007 and it seems like it is never going to happen. My periods are pretty regular between 26-30 day cycles (average 28 days).

I missed my period for about a week now and feeling bloated. I thought it was impossible to get pregnant without ejaculation and penetration. Now I'm realli worried.

One time ago in this trying to conceive catoglory peolpe use to answer your (?) and be there to help you, exspecailly the ones who was ttc. Now since they already conceive they leave this catoglory and dont seems to care about giving us some advise on what they did to conceive, I have pcos and I no many ladies who was on it like 5 months ago who was also ttc with pcos and end up pregnant, instead of them coming back in this cataglory and giving u some help they stay in the pregnancy cataglory, I promise you'll out there if I conceive with pcos I would never forget where I come from, I would always do my best to help you guys out.

currently taking metformin and its giving me alot of hope

ok last friday i started what i thought was my period but i barley even bleed, i only bleed when i wiped. plus it was like a week before i was expecting my period. i've been really tired more than usual, i've noticed a little boob sorness but nothing too bad. well i took a pregnancy test sunday and it said negative. so i was wondering if anyone else has had this. and if it mean my period is being weird or if i could be pregnant.

I have pcos and ttc, did clomid and didn't work, so dr perscribe metformin, so I am asking you guys who took it or no someone who did it and conceive, how long did it take them and which mg they were on.

I am taking 500mg 2x a day
this is my 2nd month on it, so far I have reguler cycles from using it, (29 day cycle)

Okay...so the only fertile cervical mucus is the "clear, stretchy, egg-white" looking kind??? Is it possible to conceive having the more whitish, lotiony cervical mucus in the days prior to ovulation. I feel like my cervical mucus never gets to that "fertile" consistency that everyone else is always mentioning. Please advise.

I took my last Provera pill LAST tuesday (over a week ago). I had a SUPER light pink period ALL DAY yesterday. I thought that it would continue for a couple of days or get heavier. Well, last night before going to bed, I found there was nothing. No more pink. Is this normal?? I've had my period induced other times before and dont recall this ever happening. Any thoughts? Does anyone know if this is normal?

We are so excited, nervous, and thankful! I am just hoping for a healthy pregnancy...took another test after I received a faint positive yesterday and it was another positive, and the line was alot darker! I just wanted to also say that for everyone taking tests BEFORE their missed periods and getting a negative result, try testing again when your period is actually due! I know alot of people have already said this, but I tested the DAY before my missed period and it was negative....then the day of my missed period I received a faint positive, and then later on that night I received a darker positive...good luck to everyone else ttc and much baby dust to you all!!

I had sex on my exact ovulation day,my fiance is gone for a month at work then home for 2 weeks,he had to come home for only 3 days but it was right when I was ovulating,hes never home when im ovulating,this is so rare and our dates will probably never match again,but why didnt I get pregnant,I do only have one ovary,but i was told that didnt matter,any Ideas thanx

im three days late.. ive been suffering from headaches i kind of eat a lil more and im sleepy alot and moody and emotional my breasts seem like they are fuller and my nipples are erect alot. i am lactaiding. when i wipe there is like a lil bit of pinkish and brownish discharge and like a lil bit of bleeding and brownish discharge. i have cramps every now and then and ive been bloated. could i be pregnant?

i m ttc frm 9months..and was prescribed with clomid and provera...and did 3 cycles and did not got conceived in first 2cycles..but just today i did ablood pregnancy test and a hpt and got both positive...and i m pregnant!!! i m soo happy so just wanted to share ths news with all...and all the best...may all ttc gets preggo soon!!

And if so, why is that? Do you not ovulate if you are stressed? I know someone who tried to get pregnant for nearly two years while working full time but while not working after a couple of months fell pregnant.

I have been diognose with PCOS since I was 14. I don't get my periods regularly only if I take birth control pills. I have been ttc for 6 months. I had ttc about 3 yrs ago with my exboyfrind and I had 6 rounds of clomid with no luck. Now that I am trying again my gyn dr wants me to wait for an other 6moths and to loose wait. I was close to 200lb before and I when down to 174 in the period of 3ys or more...I am 5' 7ft... Now she wants me to loose more weight... She has me on metfornime 500mg 3 times a day. she says that this will help me have my period... but it doesn't I don't get my period unless I use provera to get it... can some one tell me if there is something else I can do to help myself atleast to have a normal period.. I am loosing hope of ever having a baby but at least I want to know what I can do to have a normal period and be healthier. please help

My husband and I have been TTC our first child for 27 months now. I got a bladder infection and could not have intercourse for a week (of course I assumed it was ovulation week), so I told myself, I couldn't be pregnant. Well, I looked at a charting website and found out that (if the chart is right) I had sex the day before ovulation! That gave me a little bit of hope.

I usually spot for a few days before I start my AF (which is due in 5 days or so). So far this time, no spotting and no sign of AF. I'm trying not to get excited. I'm planning on taking a test in about 7 days. I've been having some mild symptoms, but I attributed them to the bladder infection. Could this be my month?!?!
