its better to ttc around ovulation time.but keep in mind that anyone can get pregnant at anytime!
thats what i keeptelling myself!!

The egg is only good for 24 hours after ovulation. After that you have to wait until the next egg. Even when sex is timed perfectly, your chances of conceiving any given month is about 25% if you are under 30.

Not very likely, depending on how long afterwards.

The best way to get pregnant is to have sperm waiting in your fertile cervical mucous so that when you ovulate they swim and catch it. The egg doesnt live for very long once it's released and isn't fertilised. I think it lives for 6 hours maximum if it isnt fertilised.
