Trying to Conceive - October 2007

Hey, my last period was oct. 3 and we had sex on oct. 13, 15, and 16. What are my chances of being pregnant? I haven't been feeling well these past couple days.

can I go to a regular doctor to be checked if I am fertile or do I have to see an obgyn?

How much would it cost me to get checked for fertility?

DO I have to be seen by one during my approximate fertile time in my cycle or can they determine it at any time

Ok, My husband is out of town and I am going to see him. We want to start trying to concieve. However I am suppose to start my period while I am there. Do you think that I could still get pregnant or no? I am really unsure we want an August baby But I am seeing him the first week of Nov and won't see him again until first week of Dec. I think there is a short window in there where we can concieve and still have a August baby. Any ideas?

Tuesday night my husband and I had sex, couple of days before I was to be ovulating (we are trying) now its Friday and im exhausted my stomach feels funky and I noticed a short fuse on my anger. I expect my period around the 4th of Nov, am I making myself feel this way or are these possible signs of pregnancy. Be honest.

I have been trying to conceive for 5 months.I know it takes an average of 6-12 months for a healthy couple since there are only 20-25% chance of getting preg each month.
My pprmlem is am gettin stressed,Sometimes i feel like crying when I am alone and most of the time I keep searching net to improve my odds of conceiving reading about pre-seed,EPO ,other people success stories and keep reading yahoo!answers all the day.I have read stress hinders conception but I can't stop myself from doing all this although I promise it every time.Need ur suggestions...Thanx

I took a pregnancy test last week(cvs generic first response) and it was negative. Threw it in the trash and thirty minutes later decided to check it again. There was a faint but very noticeable positive(even my grandma could see it without her glasses on!)....I know generally you aren't supposed to look at the results after ten minutes but I can't help but be hopeful. I wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them and if they were really pg?
I took another test(same kind) the next day and it took all day but later that day it came back with a faint faint positive. Crazy!!! Maybe they were defective tests.....

So, long story short: My husband had a vasectomy with previous wife and now had it reversed so we can start a family. Results came and his sperm count is fine, but the boys have a bad morphology so we have to go for Artificial Insemination. The doc says we might still get preggo by ourselves, but it can take years. I have Endometrioses and had it lasered off last year, but it can come back.

SO... Should we just leave charting and counting and EVERYTHING till January and go for AI and just chill now. Or would you say go for it now?!? I dont know?!

Anyone ever conceived on their first round of Clomid?? I always see people on several rounds, b/c it didnt work. I know I ovulated this much, I am actually 1 dpo, i had horrible pain in BOTH of my ovaries.. so i was just wondering if this ha dhappened to anyone, and if they did conceive their first round, I took it days 5-9. Thanks!!

I am now officially 3 dpo!!!!!!!!! I ovulated day 20 (Tuesday). I am so excited. I was just wanting to let those that have followed my story know and if anyone has some inspiring words or prayers that would be useful. Also, should I have my progesterone levels checked? My doctor didn't mention having it done but should I call and ask them to schedule it? Is it really needed? I had boarderline low levels of progesterone on a test a few months back but I also didn't ovulate each cycle. I am taking Clomid so that should help with this. I think my doctor would have mentioned it if it was a problem. Just wanted some imput. Thanks again for all of you that care so much. I am praying for all those ttc. It is a very hard time. Oh yeah another one of my cousins thinks she may be pregnant (That would make me having 3 pregnant cousins right now). I want to be happy for them but it is hard. I see it as a test from God. Thanks again!!

For those of you that don't know me. I miscarried the first week of september, and I didn't take clomid or any other fert. meds this cycle and we really weren't tryig to get pregnant at all this month. Just BD'ing when we were in the mood. We just os happen to have been "in the mood" on Monday. FF says I Finally ovulated, was beginning to think it wouldn't happen this month. In fact I have an appt with my doc on thursday for a consult and to get provera to induce my period and another round of clomid. Do you think I actually ovulated? I use the clearblue Fert, Monitor and I gave up on testing cause I kept getting "high" with no "peak" or spike in temp. Also I dont chart CP or CM never got the hang of that.

Anyhow, do you think FF is right?

hi there. My hubby and I found out we are pregnant. We took two HPT's and both came out positive. However, I am not due for a period on the 22nd and i got a positive at 8 DPO which was the 16th. We went to the doc the 17th and got a blood test. the results came back borderline? Do you think I was just to early to tell? IT is kind of disappointing. I really hope i am pregnant I took two different tests one digital and one regular pee stick with lines. has this ever happened to anybody and was actually pregnant? we go to get a blood test again today and i have to wait for my results until Monday :s i just need some encouraging i guess :s thansk in advance

Stop taking birth control pills in april had my first period since stopping the pills in May, then in june it was really regular and have not had one since. I heard that if you dont have your period you dont ovualate is that true, is there any way I could get pregnant?
