I would wait a few more days and then do another test. It could be that this cycle is just longer than your previous ones. Sometimes we can ovulate later than usual which in turn makes our cycle longer. If you normally ovulate on day 14 and this month you didn't ovulate until day 20 then you period would be six days later than usual. There are lots of reasons why you might have delayed ovulation this month, stress, tiredness etc... If you don't get a positive test in the next few days then I would go and see a doctor to find out what is going on. You might be pregnant but it is best not to build your hopes up too high. You could be pregnant but then it could be you period being late. Last month i was two weeks late, which is not like me so i was getting qutie excited! There was no sign of period but i did get negatives so i made an appointment for the doctors just to see what was going on and literally 5 mins before i left for doctors i came on : ( as you can imagine i was gutted. So please don't get your hopes up to much right now your body may be playing tricks with you! Just wait a week and test again and if you want to go now then make an appointment with the doctors where they will give you a blood test. Hope you get the result you want xx

If you have missed your period then there is a big possibility that you are pregnant. If you have done the test and it was negative go to the doctors and have them give you a pregnancy test. That will at least ease your mind and let you know either way. If it's not what you wanted I'm sorry darl, find someone who can be there for you and help you decide what it is you want to do.

Sounds like a late period. Could be because of stress, or illness, or just coming off the pill. It's highly unlikely to be pregnancy with a negative 7 days after your period was due.

there's no magical way to know until a test shows positive, or you get your next cycle. I've had it a few times.. and got my hopes up...because everyone says that sometimes preg test dont show for weeks... yeah ok.. its almost always going to be a late period, over a false negitive test (assuming its taken at the right time) good luck if you are ttc

Your cycle could just be changing. depending if your 28 day cycle or 30 day cycle there is only three days you can get pregnant which is thirteen to fifteen days after the first day of your cycle. did you have sex then? there's your answer.
