hi there. My hubby and I found out we are pregnant. We took two HPT's and both came out positive. However, I am not due for a period on the 22nd and i got a positive at 8 DPO which was the 16th. We went to the doc the 17th and got a blood test. the results came back borderline? Do you think I was just to early to tell? IT is kind of disappointing. I really hope i am pregnant I took two different tests one digital and one regular pee stick with lines. has this ever happened to anybody and was actually pregnant? we go to get a blood test again today and i have to wait for my results until Monday :s i just need some encouraging i guess :s thansk in advance

well i was told i would have to wait until monday. the reaosn being we are a military couple living on a military base. The main reaons though is because i am going to a hospital to get it done and my results are being sent to my doctors office. odd i know :S

From what you have said you are pregnant.

By the sounds of it your HCG levels are low at the time you had your first blood test and this next test they should have risen.
I had a similar situation when I found out I was pregnant I had been admitted to hospital and they had asked if there was a chance of me being pregnant and of course I said yes.
They did a POAS test but never said anything to me about it.
I was in hospital for 4 days and hadn't seen my doctor who was caring for me since the first day after I was admitted so I asked my nurse and he said he would check on it for me later informing I would see him in the morning.
The next morning my doctor and a trainee doctor came to see me and I asked when I could go home and they said to me that I was "a bit pregnant".
I asked what that meant and was told I might be pregnant because the levels of HCG were very low so they took some more blood to make sure the HCG levels had risen and they released me from hospital because if I was pregnant they couldn't do the operation I needed until I was past my first trimester.
I rung the hospital two days later and they said it looked like I was pregnant as the HCG levels had doubled from when first blood test was done and said to see my doctor.
I saw my doctor a few days later and when I told him what they had said at the hospital and he said congratulations your pregnant no need to do anymore tests to check if you are.
Now I have a five year old son!

I experienced something like that, my first test was a urine test at the doctor's office, the response was, "you might be," So I took the blood test. When I received the first results it was so low that my Dr. said that there was either a problem with my pregnancy or it is early in the pregnancy. If you are pregnant your results should double or triple within a couple of days. I now have a beautiful, very energetic 4 yr old. Stay positive, if you know your body you are probably just testing early and this time next year you will be wondering how it's possible to love someone so much.

If you are going early this morning, they should be able to tell you very quick....I would call back in an hour, there is no reason you should have to wait until Monday.....
