Trying to Conceive - October 2007

Stopped taking birth control pills in May and I haven't had a period since then. Is this normal? I'm not pregnant, I have taken about fifty pregnancy test, but all come back negative. How long will it take me to start my period?

My period for 2 days was spotting. pink,red, then full blown red like really full flow yesterday. Would my first day Of period be yesterday? OR 2 days ago?

This is my 15th negative and I am so sick of it!
I thought I was getting better on handling it but it is getting worse. I guess I just wouldn't mind hearing some encouragement or tricks to help, I have tried Clomid, fertili aid you name it.
My husband is going to be gone next month during my ovulation so next month is out.
we have already seen docs I am fine my husband is 63% mobile.

later in life? One of my professors talked in class about how so many women nowadays cannot get pregnant and maybe its because we only have so many eggs and our prime childdbearing years used to 16-24 and now so many of us wait until we are almost 30 and we cant have kids.

she said back in the day women were pregnant for years! and this allowed them to continue having children because there eggs were not 'wasted' like ours are. So I basically took this as: if I were on birth control, which tricks our body into thinking we are pregnant, I will have a better chance of still being able to concieve later in life.... is this true?

We have one child but we are working on another. Last time I thought I counted from the last day but someone told me that wasn't correct. I might go buy an ovulation kit. Any pointers? Thanks!

I my last Yahoo!Answers I received suggestions that I shd try Pre-Seed lubricant.I tried to reach about this product.I found lot of success stories of the people using pre-seed.I was wondering that are these reviews true or..its just a marketing trick.
Has anybody used this product and did it work..?

I'm on CD 28 of an irregular cycle (never shorter than 18 days and never longer than 31 days).

I had a bladder infection for a few weeks (the first antibiotics didn't work) and after I started feeling a little better, I got an awful cold. I've been a little more moody than usual and I've been feeling very nausous for the last week. I've also noticed that my appetite is almost GONE! I love to eat, so this is very strange for me.

I started lightly spotting on Saturday evening and it continued on throughout Sunday, but it never picked up flow. Today, it's almost gone. What is up with that??

DH and I are TTC and I am nervous to take my pregnancy test. We've been trying for 6 months and I want this so badly, but I feel like I might jinx it. Has anyone ever felt like this?? I should have gotten my AF yesterday, but I am not 100 percent regular. I just keep putting if off thinking AF will come.

Ok today is day 12 of my cycle, I am having lite cramps, I never had a reguler cycle because of pcos, now I am taking metformin and now my cycles are 29 days, do you think this could be signs of ovulation?

I am 7dpo (I think) so I'm going in tomorrow to get my P4 levels drawn ...

Is 8dpo normal for this test??

well, I’m not fat (120lb) but my boyfriend is (260lb) although he is a big man (6'1'') he is starting a diet today, and he is going to try to be a little more healthy.... We are going start to TTC (hardcore) on January.,. you think that at least with 10 less pounds we will have more chances to conceived faster?

I have a feeling they will find my not pregnant, in spite of what these tests are telling me cause I got what I thought was a period a couple of weeks ago. I'm not puking or nauseous. I just have a cold now. Heard that could be a symptom. Who knows. I did have a lot more cm this month, starting shortly after my period. That I know is not normal. Maybe I'm ovulating early. (that's also not normal, I'm a day 16-20 kind of gal normally I think) Well, I'll get back to you'all after I go to the doc's. I really hope I'm pregnant!

My hubby and I are TTC#3. I am on day 16 of my cycle and just came down with a yucky cold/sore throat. I am not exactly sure when i will ovulate(hopefully I already have) Do you think being sick will affect my chances of conceiving? Where do I begin? My husband and I have been ttc for about 7 months now. We already have 2 children (ages 4 and 11) and for some reason cannot get pregnant. I have irregular periods. Sometimes 28 days and then 36 days.I went to the doctor about 4 months ago. He did a pap and an exam (everything came back normal). He put me on progesterone pills for 2 months to "regulate" me. I stopped the progesterone pills 2 months ago. The 1st period after was horrendous! I bled for 8 days and had severe clotting. Now I am on day 44 and NO period. I have taken 3 tests. The last test I took was Saturday night. It was negative. I am very confused. Also, my periods were regular while I was on the progesterone. I have made an appointment to see the doctor but that cannot get me in until Nov. 5th. Oh yeah, I have TONS of discharge. I mean tons! Oh, and also I seem to be losing a ton of hair. Clumps and clumps. I feel like I am losing my mind. Any opinions would be great! Thanks
