Pregnancy - November 2007

I am 27 weeks prego and my weight was about 160 when I first got pregnant (or first found out at 5 weeks)So I lost weight until I got down to 140 (-20lbs)and now I have gained back slowly that weight and am now at 152. my question is that healthy? And what weight do I start from to tell how much I have gained? I am almost at the beginning of 7 th month. The nurses at my prenatal sort of look at me funny when they weigh me at my appt.s. Wondered if anyone else had this happen to them ?

Hi all,

My sister-in-law is preggers and her due date is Dec. 2, 2007. This is her first baby, and the doctor says she could go in to labor any time now.

Our question is this. Is it more likely that she will deliver the child after her due date or before being this is her first?

my coccyx is painful and I have diorehia & bad heart burn are these signs of labour?

i was told my coccyx could be hurting due to the pressure from the baby, it has been hurting for a few days now and the diorehia started yesterday.

Will I be going in to labour any time soon?

Soo I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and I have this anxiety disorder and I get very hyper and start jumping around sometimes. I'm being totally serious I know it sounds funny but I can't help it I'll get up and run around my room or jump on my bed! I cant take the medicine cause I;m pregnant and I feel like I'm going to miscarry because I just jump up like that!! Help! Am I going to cause miscarriage?! I know this sounds stupid it's something I really cannot help..

i lost the box where the test came in and well i know a positive means pregnant right? well i got a positive on the round and just a line on the square what does that mean?? if it means its positive can it be wrong???

My boyfriend and I have been living together for a little over a year. Our relationship is almost non-existent but we still are intimate, unfortunately the birth control (depovera) we were using failed. I am now pregnant and I am considering an abortion but I feel he wants me to keep the "child" He threatend that if I do anything to the "child" he will throw me up against the wall. he also threatened that if I think things r bad now it could get a lot worse. Should I not him that I am getting an abortion?

Please don't be negative I know my body and I have really done everything in my power to carry this baby up to now. Was in hospital at 34 weeks with chickenpox. I am very uncomfortable and in pain and I have a family as well as 9 little newborn puppies to look after. I am at the end of the rope! My first pregnancy I carried till 34 weeks, I was induced in hospital and had a painful natural birth but my baby was born healthy at 2869g. My gynie said that this baby has matured enough and he expects it any time from 36 weeks. What can I do, have tried sex, Castor oil and nipple stimulation. I get contractions but nothing further, don't want another hospital induction and must go to gynie again tomorrow. Scared, and I know my baby is ready.

i had sex on oct. 5th. and then had an internal ultrasound 5 and a half weeks later (nov. 14th). it didnt show a pregnancy. could i have had the ultrasound too early for anything to be detected?

Lady's you know what I think about the Magical Experience of pregnancy? I HATE IT! Dont get me wrong I cant wait to be a mommy, BUT what work it is just being pregnant!! I mean the Nausea, Diarrhea, back pains, sick feeling you get when your so busy you forget to eat, I'm always tired, the killer headaches, and did i mention the NAUSEA! I mean when is it going to STOP i have been throwing up now for about 8 weeks STRAIGHT! I think it should be called ALL DAY NAUSEA.. Oh yea n the Mood Swings... Maybe this is just Me.. so i was wonderin LADYS how are you Feeling Being PREGNANT.. And if you SAY GREAT love every Min. of it THEN you must not be throwing up Yet. LOL OH yeah I cant wait for my legs to swell up and i cant sleep cause i have no Ankles ... What we woman do.... STAY STONG, STAY PROUD Cause we preg. woman are STRONG!

I had my first ultrasound done the other day and I am 4 1/2 months pregnant and my doctor told me they found what is called EIF (echogenic Intracardiac Focus) which is a small spot on the babies heart and the doctor said that most of the time it is nothing and there are rare cases it can be a sign of chromasome issue and can be downsyndrome, has anyone had this before and ended up being nothing?

how should i know that i get pregnant by using this test. i mean, i test my urine and it said 36.58 Celsius. what does this mean? am i getting pregnant. just so you know, there's no instruction or guidelines i found with the urine test. so am a bit confused.

I would be testing again today, I am 12 days late, I was suppose to get af on Nov 9th, I had lite cramps all that week, and last week, the cramping went away, I am just having aches nipples, I am trying to conceive

I just feel a little nassuea, and some smells sames to get to me now.

Yesterday I was talking on the phone and had Severe pain in my upper pubic region. Near the spot that your undies would meet your skin and over around the front to the upper side. I called the dr and couldn't even walk myself. He had me go to the er and I did. In Labor and Deliver they couldn't find a thing wrong. It is still hurting, not as bad, today. They did give me a sleeping pill and pain med for last night. Has anyone heard of this? The nurse said I probably pulled a muscle. That isn't likely. I am so frustrated! I am 3 cm dialated for like 2-3 wks now and am just getting so sick of this. Sorry to be like this but if it's not one thing it's another. The pain was unbearable!
It just happened again! When I went to bend down to get my sons toy I almost couldn't get back up! It feels like a rubberband tugging on my skin! HELP!

I wanted to have a water birth but my hospital doesnt allow 1st pregnancys to do it, but i did get a compromise and they said i can labor in the tub as long as i wanted. I know this might sound silly but what do i wear? A bathing sut top and bottoms or just top.. any other differant types of clothing? what do you suggest?

I never usually have gas, but for the last few weeks it has been terrible.

I had an ultra sound today; I am 5 weeks pregnant (7 weeks from last menstrual period). In the ultra sound there was no heartbeat of the fetus, neither any organ. In the afternoon, suddenly I had pain and bleeding. The doctor said I have to go for a blood test. I am so worried, is the fetus dead?
Is there anybody who has experienced the same thing? Did you have a normal pregnancy after?

I've had the names for my baby picked out since I was 15 (I'm 20 now). I'm very big on making the names meaningful. Such as my top boy's name is Jason Kane. How I got that name has a story of its own (I'm a big horror fan!) But the name itself mean Healing Warrior. However my mother is set on the boy's name being Reagen Kane. But I dont like that name at all! The girl's name I picked out is Carla Tracey, which is my grandmothers name and my mothers name. But my mother thinks its hould be Carlie Dawn. Which is a short for Carla and my middle name. I like to take my mom's advice but should I listen to her on this subject? I am so unsure. I dont even know the sex of the baby yet. I love the names I picked, But my mom thinks they sound too formal or old.... Please Help

Please Give me some more Ideas.... Or how I should tell my mom I am going to name them.

Hi there,

I am 16 weeks pregnant (4 mos). Since about the beginning of 3 mos along, I get sick whenever I brush my teeth. I know that with regular morning sickness, the woman gets sick every morning and it goes away by about 12 weeks. My sickness only comes on when I brush my teeth, and 4 mos later it still isn't going away... What is causing this? Anyone else ever had this problem?

My whole pregnancy i have been a good sleeper. NO problems at all! I could sleep the day away. Now im 37wks4days and i cant even get 2 hrs at night! and when i do fall asleep it seems like just the brush of air could wake me up!why is this? and is their anything i can do about it?
