Pregnancy - September 2007

It is going on 6 months ttc and hubby and I really want a baby. This cycle was a bust. I normally have 25-29 day cycles. I do chart and realize that I may ovulate very early in the cycle maybe around day 8 or 9.

My question: Was there anything that anyone may have tried that worked? Herbs or vitamins-which ones? What about preseed? I also think I need to improve the amount of quality cm-any suggestions?

I've read that Xanax can be very harmful to the fetus. I started about a month ago on it. Very low dose. .5 every morning. Should i be scared about defects if I am pregnant?

The other day my mother and sister in law shrieked at me don't lift your arms up like that it will wrap the umbilical cord around you baby's neck! For some reason I think this sounds a like a old wives tale and they were overreacting. Anyone with knowledge on this know? Preferably a nurse or doctor.

My last day of my period was on the 26th of August I have had unprotected sex (he pulled out) four times since then. a couple of times was after I had performed oral on him. What are the chances I could be pregnant...and when should I take a test to find out?

i have had really bad all day sickness for the last 2 mnths,lately it has gotten a little bit better but it's still effects my daily activities. i usually can't eat and if i do i vomit so i was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas of what foods i might be able to keep down. im in school, so maybe something that i could carry in my purse. please something besides crackers and granola.lol

I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and being induced becuase in my first pregnacy he came really fast and almost didnt make it to the hospital. Anyway, what should I expect. At my last dr.'s appt. last Wed. I had been dialated at a 2 but then the baby moved back up and I was dialated at a half. I think he has dropped again but kinda hard to tell. Ive heard that being induced can be more painful, but Ive also heard that it can go pretty quickly. Just want to know what to expect tomorrow.....Thanks..........

I am pregnant and I'm told by my dr that my conception date was a day that was four full days before the last intercourse we had. Could this be possible? I do think he is pretty fertile. And does this mean that I must have ovulated on that fourth day?

Hi, I'm 40+1 weeks pregnant and have a midwife appointment tomorrow. I have been very fortunate and not had any problems so far in this pregnancy, I am not uncomfortable at all - does this mean I am less likely to be offered a membrane sweep or will it be done routinely? Also, does it hurt?? And will I have to be booked into hospital to have it done at a separate appointment, or might she just do it then and there tomorrow?

hey all, heres the story, i took a tescos HPT yesterday (day of missed period) and i got a line, took a good few mins to show up but did before the time limit and i got a good pink line that was with SMU, took one this morning and FMU and it is fainter, i can still see it but fainter than yesterdays! should i b worried? i was thinking that maybe the amount of dye was different in each, as the position of the line is slightly different!

starting to think something bad is going to happen, anybody had this happen?

Hi everyone, I had my last period on 17th fev. so due date would be 24th November, but when I went to Ob. he said that according to the baby size I was due 4th december, as if my period was on the 27th fev. It was odd but, he's the doc so I didn't think about it anymore. But I've seen lots of people here saying sometimes doc do get it wrong. What do you think? Meanwhile, I have another question, last scan the doc said the baby was too small considering I'm 27 weeks preg (according to his calculation). Most people don't realize Im preg because there is almost no belly. I'm 1.63 meters tall and weigh 63kg. i eat normally, no diets or anything like that. I take my prenatal vitamins and Iron. Any ideas? Thanks!
