I'm 40 weeks and yesturday have been timing my contractions. I had one about almost every hour and they lasted about 30 seconds. What helped you? Thanks for the advice.

I woke up this morning feeling ok. I ate two pieces of toast and still felt fine. I then took my prenatal and calcium pills (milk makes me sick) and now I feel like throwing up. I have been sick since week 5 with throwing up mainly in the morning. Could the prenatal pills be the cause? Can I take other vitamins like the Flinstones which will work the same as the prenatal pills? Should I start taking the pills before I go to bed?

Isn't weird when women who are 9 months pregnant try to wear clothes that aren't for pregnant women? Have you ever seen it? give examples.

So I had PROTECTED sex in june but when we finished we noticed a huge wet spot in the bed (we never figured out how it got there).My periods are very irregular but i did have one this month (it was normal) what do you think my chances are of being pregnant? He also says he didn't ***...but he could be just trying to comfort me. Wed. ( 9-12 ) i had an emergency c-section due to her heart rate dropping and non- progress. I made my self get up and walk a little the next day. I was given pain medicine at the hospital but found that ibprofen works okay for me. My question is when they take out the staples how bad does it hurt?

I know, I know...TMI, but what do you think baby is doing in there when you're having sex? I know it's perfectly normal and safe( as long as doc gives you the all clear) but I can't help but feel bad. I know nothing will happen, but I feel bad for all the shaking and bouncing around that's going on. I mean, what must the kid think is going on?

I went to the dentist the other day and am still furious. The hygienist told me that I have gum disease and have for some time. She pointed this out in records (before she even looked at the teeth). I've always had bleeding gums (even in childhood; my dad's 66 and has the same history but his teeth seem to be fine too) and was told years ago that some people have that problem and that it means nothing. Being pregnant, they bleed a bit more, but my OB told me that wasn't unusual at all. They hygienist, however, acted rather hysterically.

Then the dentist came in and told me that it was more dangerous now to do treatment (I'm on the cusp of the third trimester) and he couldn't see why it couldn't wait until after I have the baby. Still, he told me that women with gum disease can have preterm or low-weight babies. Now I'm really scared. I've always brushed and flossed a lot and haven't had a cavity since I was a kid.

Anyone else have gum problems during pregnancy? What did your OB say?

I used to have inregular period but for the past month my period will come either on the 7th or 8th without fail and last about a week. I miss my period this month and tested 3 times negative. I just change job and my poor grandma was in hospital so I been busy this week. I even took a hormorme pills to let my period come but it still doesn't. Sometimes I will feel nausea in the evening and my stomach is bolated. I feel backaches, tired, moody and will some how have craving. I use withdraw method I wonder does the 1st liquid from men(sorry I don't know what is the actual name) which is before the sperm came out will have any chances of causing pregnancy? Thank you.

I started my period on the 16th of August last month and its now the 16th of Sept and I havent started Septembers period yet. I have been really stressed out over it not starting and worried I might be pregnant. The 2 times this month I had sex he did not use protection but he always pulls out before he comes and these 2 times he did not come at all, I am very sensitative down there so I dont think it lasted long enough for him to ***. The first time about a week ago I noticed a bit of blood on my underwear afterwards though but thought when he was touching me down there he may have just scratched me but wasnt really sure. Anyway its been a full month now since my last period should I be worried about being pregnant or could it just be stress??

A girl I was seeing for a while has turned out to be pregnant.. The last times I slept with her was around the 4th July and I'm 100% sure on the 15th July.. She then moved to a different country. She told me her last period was 19th July. She has morning sickness and has returned a positive test.. Would the fact that she had a period on the 19th July not suggest that she concieved somewhere around August 2nd ( assuming a 28day cycle )....???

I am totally confused, so I can understand if anyone has problems understanding the question.

Tensions are slighly high between us at the moment because we dont exactly agree on the outcome of the pregnancy... She is not too keen on keeping the child..

Is it still to early to be feeling my baby move? I am 13 almost 14 weeks pregnant with my third pregnancy, however this one is the only the second one to make it this far. I miscarried with number two. I am pretty skinny normally also and I have heard that you can feel the baby move sooner if you are skinny. Anyways why I think that baby moved. The other night and just now, I felt a sudden movement in my tummy both times. It was pretty slight, but I definitely felt something. I might just be getting too excited about things that aren't happening yet, but I just wanted some opinions on whether or not you think it could be movement yet or not.

I have had this miserable head congestion for about 3 weeks. I have no chest congestion, no cought, no sore throat, and it really does not feel like a cold. I am just congested in my sinuses and I sneeze about 50 times a day. When I sneeze, my eyes water and the flood gates open with the mucus. That part is anooying but I can live with it. The problem is that the congrestion is causing me to have these terrible pressure congestion headaches. I took 2 Tylenol yesterday and it made it bearable but the headache is still there today. I am 12 1/2 weeks along. Is there anything that I can take for the congestion? Please help.

I am 6 weeks 6 days pregnant. I went to the ER for stomach pains but come to find out everything was okay, no signs of miscarriage. I went to the OBGYN at 6 weeks only to see the baby and a little heartbeat but it was too early to check the bpm. Before about 4 days ago I had no symtpomes except hunger, frequent urination, and tender breasts but then I started having the nausea and the fatigue. When I went to the doc my HCG was at 36,000 and my progesterone was 53. Now, all of the sudden, all of my symptoms have disappeared except the cramping. Is this normal?? My OBGYN had told me that after a heartbeat is seent here is very little chance of a miscarriage but I'm not even having food adversions anymore. It has only been 3 days of this so far..

To Circumcise Or Not To Circumcise...

At first I thought the question didn't even need to come up, my husband is Circumcised, its the normal thing to do...

My mom however had to start it. Turns out my step dad and all his family (who I love to death by the way) don't believe in circumcisions...

Now its not going to stop me form doing it if thats what I decide to do, and they wont look down on me for doing it, but now I have a question... Should I? I just never considered not doing it before... and now I'm not so sure its the best thing to do...

Whats are the reasons to and not to? Ive been doing some research, but wanted some outside opinions... what do you think? Circumcise?? not Circumcise??

is it okay for me and my boyfriend conitue our intimacies even though Im pregnant for almost 24weeks?

I really miss him a whole lot if he isnt by my side but when he wants to have intimacy with me, i just dont like it... I can really feel my baby moving but I had several spottings this last few days, what could it possiby be? I cannot see my doctor until tomorrow but I am freaking out... I really dont want to loose this child....

is it also possible that i can feel two kicks?im gaining weight fastly and I have gained almost 8pounds the last month...

Ive never been the type to ware undies, I just don't like them. Until now its never rely been a problem, but now that I'm in my 3rd trimester I feel naked without them. Its uncomfortable not to have them on, I feel like my bottom is going to fall out.
Is this normal? Is it better to have undies on while pregnant?
I also never had a problem with infections till I got pregnant, and I have had 2 (my doctor treated them) sense I got pregnant.
Does having them on prevent or help prevent infections? why do I feel better with my granny panties on now?

Hi all,

I am being induced tomorrow mornign at 7am.I am 39 weeks and 2 days. I am totally worried as i have been reading alot of stuff in regards to induction and it has all been pretty negative. I am pretty scared, anxious and excited all at the same time. Please tell me what to expect, i already know it will be painful but any info would be great. I am being induced because my bp has been high at my last couple visits. I wish i could just go natural but it hasnt happened yet. I have been trying to naturally induce but nothing so far. Please tell me ho your induction was, etc or just any info. Thx Ladies!

well i was wondering
cuz im on my period stince tuesday.
and on the first day. man it was heavy! i had to change my pad so much that day. and the worst part i was at school and i had blood on my pants...but then.. the next day. it kinda went light. but i was camping a lot! but it was light???its saturday and i think im almost over with my period cuz i usually am done in about 4 to 5 days. it seem pretty normal to me but i was wondering if im pregnant cuz i been worrying about that since i had unprotected sex like two weeks ago.
and he did let it out in me......i going to get tested. im goign to buy a pregnancy test and everything. but im still on my period. and i was wondering can i still be on my period and still buy a pregnancy test and use it??? i dont know if it will still be okay. so that was my other thing.
should i even worry?cuz they say your period comes little bit earlier..but mine went normal.and it seem normal...so does that mean im not pregnant???
