I have been pregnant 4 times and I have never had implantation bleeding but I am a nursing student and I understand that a brief bout of light spotting can be associated with implantation and usually only lasts up to a day and is very light in comparison with normal menstruation.

I am mom to four children. I did not experience implantation bleeding with any of my pregnancies. I actually had never heard of such a thing until I began using Yahoo!Answers and saw so many questions about it. I did some research and it seems as though most women do not experience implantation bleeding, but some do. Those who do, generally report just some spotting for 1-2 days. Most implantation bleeding is lighter in duration, color, and quantity than a menstrual period and generally occurs about 9 days after ovulation while periods are generally occur about 14 days after ovulation. There are many good and reliable websites for pregnant women.

Never had implantation bleeding...and from a couple of women I know who have experienced it, it's more like a bit of spotting, not full on bleeding.

I had it for maybe a day and a half, it wasn't heavy enough to be a real period now that I look back on it, but that's what I assumed it was when I had it because it came on the exact right day of the start of my period. At the time I was half way using birth control, so I assumed that it was a short period due to my birthcontol... boy was I mistaken. feel free to email me.

well when i was pregnant i didnt have any spotting but everyone is different but from what my friend told me from her pregnancy it lasted a couple of days but if it continues then u might be having a miscarridge so i would suggest deeing a doctor right away so that he/she can determine if its implation or a begging of a miscarridge
