If administered correctly; they are all equally are effective (99% or above in theory). The pill does take some dicipline as the female must take it at the same time everyday. I would recommend the shot simply out of convenience; my girlfriend loves it. If you don't like needles, definately the pill. The patch is effective, but the absorption rates will vary; something I'm sure you don't want. Also, be very careful when taking anitbiotics. They can render birth control useless while your on them. IF you really want to be careful, use condoms with spermicide while you are on birth control; not 100% but pretty dang close. Hope this helps.

In order:
A. Not to have sex
B. Norplant (synthetic progestogen implant) with only a
0.05% failure rate.
C. To use a condom, a diaphragm and another method.
C. To use a condom and a diaphragm
E. To use a condom; many do have spermicides on them.
F. To use a diaphragm only
Of course a birth control pill that prevents you from ovulating has a failure rate of only 0.3% if used properly with an overall failure rate of only 8%.
Condums have a 2% failure rate if used right and an average 10–18% failure rate, but they are the best protection against STDs.

Other then not having sex. The woman needs to be on birth control examples shot, pill, iud, or vaginal ring. And a man also should use a condom each and every time he has sex and even though he wears the condom he should still pull out when he ejaculates. With that being said thats about 100 proof you can be... Both genders should do their part in protecting themselves.

Obviously, abstinence is the most effective, but the second most would be to use the pill, condoms, a diaphragm, contraceptive foam, and a well-marked calendar all at once...to be really safe, this should be done over the phone.

No sex is the #1 answer. But, I'm guessing you're not asking that. So, be sure to use condoms, in addition it wouldn't hurt to be on the pill, and every other form of birth control you can think of. You can never be too careful.

the most effective way would be to monitor the menstruation cycles so that u can know when u are in the safe zone and when not so u can have intercourse and also u would not get pregnant.. check with ur gynacologist for further details and they can give u the menstruation table also.. :)

Don't have sex...
It's the only 100% effective form of birth-control.
