The signs of pregnancy are vague and can be the same symtpoms as being premenstrual, or having the flu. Signs and symptoms are not reliable enough to know if you're pregnant, and you need to take a test to know for sure.
Common signs include:
cramps
nausea
tender and swollen breasts
feeling bloated
metallic taste in your mouth
appetite changes
tiredness
increased need to urinate
spotty, light bleeding around the time period was due

You had sex yesterday and you're wondering if you're pregnant?
You're going to have wait a little longer to figure that one out. The first chance you have to accurately take a pregnancy test is the first day of your expected period (if you miss it).
Even then, your hormone levels might not be high enough to give an accurate result right away (mine always have been, but everyone's different).
The very early signs of pregnancy aren't all that different than some PMS symptoms, so don't count on those.
If you miss your period, take a test at home or go to the doc and have a blood test taken.

Just take a test. Signs of pregnancy can be the same for other problems or ailments. If you want to know for sure, take a test!!!

Frequent urination, missed period, headaches, nausau and/or vomiting, bloating, heartburn, moody and emotional, really tired all of the time
Take the test - why play a guessing game? If you are pregnant you need to start getting good prenatal care and avoiding certain foods and medications.

I was really dizzy, my chest hurt more than normal and it hurt for the entire month rather than just the week before my period, I was tired and overly emotional from the very beginning.
