I had a c-section 4 yrs ago because I was not dialating....
did you prefer the c-section or the vaginal? Why did you have a csection before?

38 wks preg. started contractions yesterday but werent very frequent today they are a lot stronger and a little more frequent than yesterday. these arent braxton hicks i dont think since they are coming from my back. i was given an exam at wk 36 and hadnt dialated yet but was def thinning out. i am retaining a lot of water (and yes i have been drinking a lot) but im retaining a lot more than normal. i also feel really tired. every ounce of energy is drained, oh and i lost my mucus plug about 2 days ago.. could labor be coming soon?? i have an appt on Monday am, but i just want to know if i should wait till then or go in now?

I am 9 weeks pregnant and I have diabetes and polycystic ovaries. I never thought I would ever be able to have children. The doctors keep throwing out the word "high risk". My question is do you think its ok for me to keep working both my jobs. On my full time job I just sit all day but the part time job can be a lil hectic at times.

I am 11.5 weeks pregnant & I notice when I stretch, my stomach is a little sore. Like the muscles. It isn't painful & no bleeding, just tender. Is that normal? I know it may be just from your uterus & muscles stretching as the baby grows, but was just curious. Thanks.

I had a normal ultrasound at 8 weeks (everything was fine and I saw my heart beating). Today, I am 11 weeks pregnant and I don't plan on getting another ultra sound until 20 weeks. Lately, I've been worried that my baby is not alive, but I can't help the feeling. I've been spotting on and off (very light flow brown)since my last pap smear at 8 weeks. I take my prenatal vitamins everyday, but I take tylenol when my back pain is very very bad. I took 4 sudafed tablets for my allergies a week ago (I took 2 one day and 2 the next day). I asked my Dr. if i can continue to take them, and she said not until 12 weeks, but I can take Zyrtec or Benedryl before 12 weeks. I havent taken any pills because I think already harmed my baby. Can my baby die in my womb based off my particular story? Other than my high blood pressure I am totally healthy. HOW DO I KNOW IF MY BABY IS STILL ALIVE AND GROWING NORMALY?? I still have sore nipples, nausea sometimes HELP please.

My period is 5 days late and Im always on time, I started to get cramping today but no period yet and also i never get cramping with my periods. Ive taken two pregnancy tests and both are negative. I start to feel sick when i have something to eat for the first time for the day. and im also not stressed about anything (even this) and i havent change any of my rutiens.
could i be pregnant? is there something else wrong?

i had sex with my husband on May 6 and May 9, then i had sex with another man on May 13. my last menstrual period started on April 22 and my due date has been consistently January 27th with ultrasounds. my cycles are 28 days, what are the chances that the baby is this other mans and not my husbands???

In August I had a full period. A short time after that, me and my husband had unprotected sex. We also had unprotected sex when I was ovulating (according to my nurse). It is to soon to tell if I pregnant. But I stay hungry and I'm really worn out (tired). I also have this motion sickness feeling. I went to the bathroom yesterday and when I wiped I saw a little blood (brownish color). What does this mean?? Am I pregnant??? Please help me, I'm a newlywed and don't know what to do. Thanks.

Is it possible to have a miscarriage when you're only one week pregnant? I heard that when you concieve youre two weeks pregnant. One website said that when you're one week pregnant, you are on your last period for another nine months, ( the period before your pregnancy starts). Another website aid when you're one week pregnant, the egg is traveling through the Fallopian tube. Can you lose the egg that is traveling? Is it possible to miscarry that early?

why do women risk their own health to prevent haveing a baby, i can understand some situations but i do not think all the women that are on the pill are realy taking it because they NEED to. if anyone has seen the mad tv skit on the birth control pill i think they used yaz in the skit this is the kind of thing i am refuring to. i know it wont literaly do that to your body but you risk an awefull lot on your health when you take the pill, why do women take it anyway?? there might be something i am missing.

Ok, try to follow me here.

My great grandmother gave birth to two girls and one boy.

That one boy gave birth to my grandmother and one other girl.

My grandmother gave birth to my mother and my mother had me and my two sisters. (My mom miscarried twice before having me and my sister, and the two babies were both girls)

Almost all the second and third cousins on my moms side of the family are girls.

So are all these girls a big coincidence or is it in my familys genetics that we mostly have girls?
