It depends on whether you have a C-section or not. With a normal delivery, you can drive in a week as long as you are not taking a narcotic for pain which may alter your judgement. If you have a c-section, you'll have an incision and you cannot drive for 6 weeks.

If you had a cesarean birth, a painful episiotomy or a low blood count, do not drive for three to six weeks. Otherwise, there are no reasons to specifically avoid local travel except the possibility of overexertion and fatigue. On long automobile trips, get out of the car every hour or so and walk for several minutes to help your circulation. If you are planning a long-distance trip in the first six weeks, first speak with your obstetric care provider.

I drove the day I came home from the hospital. I needed pads and my husbands was not going to get them. I would not advise during if you are taking any drugs or medication that might affect your ability.
I wouldn't take the baby with me for a couple days by my self because it is a hassle to get the child in and out and drive. It will wear you out.

In the UK, your insurance will be invalid if you have an accident if you drive before your 6 weeks check after a c section.
Otherwise as soon as you feel like it!

It depends on whether you have a vaginal birth or C-section, as well as your doctor's orders. My doctor didn't restrict my driving, and I was back in my car a week after birth. Just ask your doctor and wait until you feel well healed.

After a C section they say a week or two. After a natural delivery, as long as you feel ok, it's fine.

On the way home from the hospital. Delivery does not affect your ability to drive. You won't be comfortable no matter which seat you're in, but there's no reason you can't drive.

it depends on how you deliver the baby. Natural birth, the next day. C-section, a couple days.
