Pregnancy - August 2007

I am 37 weeks right now and I have GD,i was at the doctors 2weeks ago and I measured 40 weeks, last week I measured 42 weeks.Has anyone ever measured that far ahead before?I do have an ultrasound on Monday to see how big the baby is,at 30 weeks she was 5 and a half pounds.Any insight would be great.I am a little worried that she is going to be over 10 pounds.

ok i am 34 weeks and 1 day preg. and i am having sharp pains in my lower back and then every once in awhile i have these really sharp pains in my vaginal area should i go to the Hospital or is it nothing?

recently since i came out of hospital on wednesday(was in hospital because of my epilepsy)was in from early hours of tuesday morning and out on wednesday but since then i have been having these wee dizzy spells like i was getting at the begining of my pregnancy now am in the last few days (am due this monday) av being getting them but am not sure if its because of the medicine i have been put on or because of my pregnancy or because i have been sort of busy since i got out of hospital!
what do u think? i have also been keeping up my fluids so i know its not because i am dyhdrated.
my pregnancy has been fairly easy only dizzy twice and sick once at the very begining of the pregnancy(at 5weeks)

hi i've got a 7 month old daughter and also 5 months pregnant with triplets. my breasts have grown rapidly since i became pregnant with my first child and i mean rapidly. before i had my daughter my bra size was 32b and after she was born i went upto a 32e. after feeding for several months and becoming pregnant with triplets they went upto 36g. recently i had to have my bra size checked again has they grew now they are 36j. will they keep growing? my bf says he loves the size of them

For the past 5 days I have been experiencing symptoms of feeling faint, extremely dizzy (as if I'm drunk) and constant nausea. My period was due yesterday but it didn't come. As I was panicking a bit, I took a pregnancy test immediately. The result was negative. I saw the doctor today who said I could be feeling this way due to vertigo (?!). He took my word for it that I was not pregnant due to my negative result and did not re-test me. Is there any chance I could still be pregnant despite the result and is it worth re-testing?

I am 33 weeks Sunday 8/19. I just wanted to know what can I expect over the next few weeks, what should I be aware of, stuff like that. I don't have a lot of females in my life, just figures some ladies would be willing and wanting to give some advice. Also I've been having some pains "down there" especially when I walk and that make me pause mid stride and kinda have to bend over a little bit. Any ideas?

i'm 35 weeks pregnant, and last night i was getting horrible cramps, that have continued onto this afternoon. i have been getting some blood tinged cervical mucus as well. should i be worried?

I was hospitalized 2 weeks ago and im kind of worried. my cramps are so bad, it feels like im going to get my period or something.

does this mean im going to lose my mucus plug soon?

the comdom broke and as a result i'm pregant i would love more kids (have one son) but my boyfriend doesn't want anymore kids thats why we use comdoms also because the pills make me sick and i couldn't use the iud. i know that he would probly ask me to abort it but i KNOW that i wouldn't do that do i dump him the spring it on him your a father again or i just pray he chages his mind and love this baby as he loves our son..

Hi guys.Thanks ever so much for ur answers to my other questions.My question now is am I intitle to get child support from the biological father in case i get married again,or if I get married now for someone else while i am pregnant,and my husband adopt the baby.Because the biological father of the baby broke up the engagment and left me pregnant .And doesn't want to know about the baby at all or to see it.

is it possible to show a tiny tummy after only being pregnant for 8 weeks? Usually i have a flatter stomach , especially in the morning when i haven't eaten for hours but now, it sticks out quite a bit, im guessing some might be from bloating but it's not just regular tummy gut...i dont know, am i crazy...

I cant wait for my baby to be born. We know its a boy and its kicking alot.
At how many weeks will by baby turn its head downwards for a natural birth? Just want to know, because at my last scan at the doc it was sitting up straight with his legs on my bladder. Well when he kicks I wanna p in pants(joke).

hey guys, i decided to keep my baby. I am 22 and in my last three semesters of school...

Can someone tell me what should i do first? To prepare myself?

Also, i need some advice on what to do in the spring...the baby is due in March, but the semester isn't over till May. Should I just take the entire semester off?

First pregnancy I am pretty sure I could tell by now. This time I just found out this week (I should be about 4 1/2 weeks) but I think I should be feeling something by now... at least tired or something... anyone else been there? Was it a healthy pregnancy?

Ok, I know of course that it takes two to tango, in order to get pregnant in the first place. But when it comes down to it, in our society today is it really up to the woman if a couple experiencing an unplanned pregnancy has a baby? My long term relationship has ended over my unplanned pregnancy recently (i am 35 weeks along). My ex has since pointed out how unfair it is to be a guy in this situation because when it comes down to it, its really all the womans decision in the end, and how that just doesnt seem right since the child is half his. In an odd way, I can totally see where he's coming from (though im not letting that alter my decision on what to do about this baby, which is keep her and love her with all that I have, and get out of this relationship asap). in a twisted way, does anyone else see how this could be "unfair" for a guy?
(she gets to chose to raise the baby, abort it or hate it put up for adoption)

I wake up every morning at 6 am and have school from 8 am- noon then I usually go to work from like 4 pm-10 pm. So obviously, I stay pretty active and I've heard that usually when you move around the baby sleeps? It also seems like I'm under a lot of stress lately and I'm sure I'm not getting enough sleep as I should be!

Anyway, my baby really only kicks me when I've been laying down for like 30 minutes or so. Is this normal?! It's really got me worried that he doesn't move around much! My friend who is pregnant says her baby moves around when she's at work and even wakes her up at night. Mine used to move around a lot but it seems like he's slowed down a lot this last couple weeks.

So maybe what I need is some reassurance that everything is gonna be okay. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?! (Nothing rude please...) PS. My ankles are SOO swollen!!
