Unfortunately yes. I know these last days of waiting are the hardest, but It will be here soon. I was 14 days overdue with 2 of my children. Hang in there.

Unfortunately it is normal, some babies are just too comfortable in there I guess. You can deliever anytime between 37-42 weeks, the due date is just an estimate. The good news is that you will deliever soon! The doctors won't let you go over 42 weeks because then it becomes a health concern for the baby so typically they induce when you get close to your 42 week mark. As a mom of 4, I highly reccomend trying to relax and enjoy this time that you are still pregnant because after the baby's born things get a little hectic and you don't really have that time to relax for a little while :)

It can be normal, yes. I was 12 days 'overdue'....
Dates are not always accurate, so 2 weeks either side of 40 weeks is considered acceptable. Anything over this then the doctor would suggest inducing labour.
When I had my first (of 4 babies) there was another lady who was 3 weeks overdue! The doctors investigated and found that the medication she was taking for her asthma was stopping labour so as soon as she was taken off her medication she went into labour.
The best thing to do is ask your doctor or maternal health nurse.

it is normal. i kinda am hoping that happens to my mom cause i love when shes pregnant it makes ME feel really manly and protective and powerful over her because she can barely move and cries a lot so i am there to hold her and just put my face on her naked belly and give a little massage and ask if she can feel the head its really great.
