It could be your body "getting ready" which can start way before birth/40 weeks. Ask your doctor, not the hospital. You may be in "early labor." The hospital wont keep you unless you have real contractions every 5 minutes.

It is most likely just your body getting ready to deliver and the baby is dropping. But I would call the doctor anyway just to be sure. I felt extremely constipated when I went into labor with my daughter, but that was just because of my insane back labor!

Do you have an after hours nurse or doctor's advice line you can call to talk to someone? Better to be a pest and get the advice and/or treatment you need, Good Luck, and best wishes.

im 34 weeks and a couple days as well, they sound like pretty normal familar symptoms...I wouldnt stress it if I were you...but if you do feel like it something that your unsure about, you should really call your doc and let him or her know whats going on...better safe then sorry...

sounds like braxton hicks contractions....they are perfectly normal....but if the pain gets severe or if your water breaks, then you should definitely go to the hospital :-)

call your doc and tell him/her see what he/she says...If you are in labor you'll want them to try and stop it
