i was at work and someone was saying that there is a chart from like a asian culture or something that says that for instance if you were to get pregnant in 2001 your baby would be a boy, if you were to get pregnant in 2008 you'd have twins. i thought it would be fun to figure out what i would have. if anyone has info on either what this chart is or a website that i could figure it out on it would be appriciated

im 40.1 weeks along. i have back pains and have had alot of discharge come out of me i have been having cramps since around 5. I am having the cramps more frequent now i timed them to be around every 5 minutes. but im not sure if cramps mean anything? i dont want to go to the hospital and be sent home because it is a far drive.

Went to the Doctor, three days after bleeding began. :( They ran a Pregnancy Test that came back negative.

So, does that mean I am officially not pregnant? They said no follow up was necessary because it was so early, and unless I develop pain of fever not to worry. How long can I expect to bleed, and also how long before I should expect a return to normal menstration?

Cramp wise?? i know some people have not had any, and i already know they are normal. i just want to know how long people have had these cramps for!? i am now 17 weeks pregnant and still have them, doc keeps telling me that they are normal and it happens most when i move or sneeze. please tell me about your cramps!!

I had a C-section 2 months ago and I still can't get my wedding rings back on. I had a lot of swelling during the end of my pregnancy, and I also gained about 50 pounds. So I took my rings off at about 20-24 weeks or so. My shoe size went up one size, and I read that will never change. Is it true with finger size as well? I don't want to jump the gun and get my rings resized if it's just an issue of waiting a few more months. I've lost 35 pounds already, but it seems it's my knuckle bone the rings don't want to go over. Thanks!

Not consistent weight loss, obviously, because the point is to be gaining weight, and I had been, but then this past week I somehow lost 5 pounds. I don't even know how because my diet hasn't changed.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Just had my ultrasound at 18 1/2 weeks and the sonographer told me that there was a 75% chance that our baby was a boy. What do you guys think??? I think boy, thanks for your help!

I am 7 weeks pregnant. The ultrasound I had today shows I am 6 weeks and there wasn't a heartbeat. I am going for more bloodwork tomorrow and again on Thursday to make sure the numbers are going up. Is there hope? I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks on Easter of this year. And this pregnancy feels nothing like the last. My doctors assistant said not to worry too much but I am. Any advice??

a bump on my cervix which they wont check out until after I have the baby. None of this is making sense. This is the nurse that I am seeing not the dr. She said that its not a uti or anything. Just that my kidneys probably arent functioning properly.to stay off of my feet and drink more water. It is not making any sense to me.

Hello people I feel down right now ... I have a great fiancé that is the best person I ever met but we have a bb issue.... I am crazy about a bb I been waiting for 3 years to become a mother... but my fiancé is not ready at all ... I feel empty inside ... we fight a lot about this... Hi, I'm pregnant with my first child, and I'm so confused! I'm 38 weeks, and the doctor told me on friday that I am 2 cm. dialated(I have gained 1 cm. since the friday before that). I have been having awful cramps, but they aren't constant. I only have labor pains when I walk around or stand, or if I'm sitting straight up. I sometimes have them if I'm just laying around. This has been going on since my exam on Friday. Are these real labor pains that I should care about, or is it braxton hicks?

Why do some people say that the babies lungs are not developed at 37 weeks, but my doctor says if the baby comes out now she will be okay??? So if I Induce my labor on my own then the baby comes out she will be okay??? Hi everyone, I'm wondering when exactly I should go to the hospital when I'm ready to have the baby. I know that I need to go right away if my water breaks to avoid infection, but if it doesn't break and there's only contractions when should I go? It's my first pregancy and was told that there's a window of time I need to make it to the hospital by in order to get an epidural. I'm not sure if I'm gonna get one for sure, but I do want the option. I'm only 5 mins from hospital.

i took 4 pregnancy test and they all said positive but just a couple weeeks ago i had a clear like jelly fall out of me and then a few days ago i had a bean like clear on the outside and blood in the inside can some one tell if that is normal? or what it is and if ive had a miscarraige or just normal.

I'm 17 weeks Pregnant. My second ultrasound which will determine my babies sex is not 'till another 2 wks. But I'm already eager to know! I've heard that if its a boy his heart should beat faster and stronger then if it were a girl. Is that a fact or just a myth?

I went to my Dr today and told him that I always feel like I have to go pee, but when I sit down to go, only a little comes out. Im also having tons of braxton hicks every day. They tested my urine today and didnt mention I had any problem, but the Dr prescribed me a Z-Pack "just in case" he said. Then told me the peeing problem was from the baby putting pressure on my bladder. Well, I dont want to take anything if I dont have to. He was rushing me out of there today and I hardly could get a word out. He just said to take the meds and if my contractions or bladder feel worse, then call. I have no burning or irritation, etc. Im 31 weeks...has anyone had this happen or had their Dr prescribe something and rushing you out?
