Honey, that sounds like labor...call your doctor and ask them what they want you to do. You don't want to deliver on the side of the road do you?

Do you have the back pains along with pains going down your legs? My water never broke but that is what happened to me. If they get much closer i would go to the hospital, better safe than sorry. Believe me i know the long drive our hospital was over an hour and a half drive (that was the nearest one) I went into false labor once and had to make the drive so you won't be the first person that has done that.

You need to go NOW! Contractions are similar to cramps for some women. If you are less then 5 minutes apart and the hospital is far then you need to go...make sure you take a cell phone in case you don't make it.

When was your last checkup sweetie? Did they tell you how far you were dialated? Call up to your doctors office for the on call. When you talk to them let them know your sympotoms and how long they've been going on. They'll let you know whether to come in or not. But if you really feel like you are in labor. Get your bags and go!

Your doc should have an oncall doctor. I would call and talk to them... That is what they are paid to do.
