I went to my Dr today and told him that I always feel like I have to go pee, but when I sit down to go, only a little comes out. Im also having tons of braxton hicks every day. They tested my urine today and didnt mention I had any problem, but the Dr prescribed me a Z-Pack "just in case" he said. Then told me the peeing problem was from the baby putting pressure on my bladder. Well, I dont want to take anything if I dont have to. He was rushing me out of there today and I hardly could get a word out. He just said to take the meds and if my contractions or bladder feel worse, then call. I have no burning or irritation, etc. Im 31 weeks...has anyone had this happen or had their Dr prescribe something and rushing you out?

I'm sorry your doctor is such a jerk. I'm 35 weeks pregnant (1st time) and feel like you do all the time. I get my urine checked every Dr. appt and I do not have a urinary tract infection. It is in fact from the baby pressing down on y9our bladder. At this point our bladder is totally squashed. It seems as though every sip of water I take I have to go to the bathroom. I guess we just have to live with this. Isn't it great being a woman LOL! Good Luck sweetie!

well it was rude to push you out BUT that's life i guess. If the dr prescribed you medication-then take it. He would not give you anything to harm you or your little precise one. And you could have signs and symptoms of a UTI before the "burning" sensation comes along-that is probably why he gave you that medication. Better safe than sorry. And the braxton hicks are getting more frequent because you are getting further along-it is completly normal-as long as they do not become painful. Good luck to ya!!

You gotta jiggle around a bunch. My wife just had a baby and the pressure on the bladder and the position of the baby made her feel the exact same way.

You gonna pee often and only a little is going to come out. You can move around and get a little more out, but the pressure you are feeling is outside the bladder, not inside.

Also, don't stop drinking water. It is very common that when a woman has these feelings, they stop drinking water. You can easily become dehydrated.

You should find a doctor that is willing to sit down and take the time to listen to your concerns and needs. This is a very special and confusing time in your life, and you should and will have a lot of questions. Your doctor should be understanding and willing to cooperate. Don't take any meds you are not comfortable taking. I'm sure it's safe if he prescribed it, but if you feel uncomfortable with it and it's not absolutely necessary, maybe hold off on it until you can find a doctor that will fully explain the pros and cons of it.

The immoderate soreness is also because of the rupture of the hymen tissue. You can attempt to therapeutic massage the discipline with a soreness relieving gel. Make definite it's risk-free. Drink no less than a gallon of water in keeping with day. If you notice repeated occurrence of bleeding then there's a rupture of the skinny epithelial lining of the urethra (assuming there is not any kidney harm). Then you have got to see a physician quickly. Don't fear it may be cured with medications and no surgical procedure can be required. Do now not have interaction in harmful oral intercourse once more. Wait until you're 18 years ancient. Then you'll be able to marry, see a physician or intercourse therapist earlier than undertaking intercourse.

If you are uncomfortable taking the antibiotics now call the office in a day or 2 and see if your urinalisis came back positive . If so definetly take them if not ask the doctor over the phone if its ok not too.
