I always said I wanted a girl, but now that I'm pregnant I'm not so sure. You will never have to argue with a boy about why he can't wear that halter top to school, or why he cant wear a mini skirt when its 10 degrees outside!
I think I'm afraid to have a boy though because I never had any brothers growing up and my dad was not in the picture, so maybe I wouldn't know how to raise a boy. What do you get a boy for Christmas and his birthdays? How do you interact with a little boy? You know?
I can see pros and cons to having either gender, so now I couldn't possibly choose which I would prefer. I figure whatever comes out is what I'm going to take, and I'm going to do the best I can with it.

Since I already have a boy and a girl, I would want another girl. All the clothing and choosing the perfect name, I would love to do that all over again.

I have a girl (3 yrs old) and a boy (18 months) and i am 28 weeks pregnant with our 3rd and last child. We don't know what we are having this time but I really want another girl. I am a girlie girl and I love brushing hair and dressing my daughter in frilly dresses and I think it would be fun to have another girl to do those fun things to!

A healthy baby, i would choose i get what i get and pray to god their healthy and happy. theres no way tosay I WANT THAT, i would love to have a boy but i wouldnt change the path im on to get my way. i understand your intention i truly do but i honestly believe that the people who tamper with things to make a "better" baby have very misslead intentions. Any parent can hope for one but hears healthy and thats enough right there. i hope this wasnt crass or snotty but thats how i feal and i know that for a great many that is the final word HEALTHY~interesting concept though it was vague enough that anyone can read into it what they will.

Well I have one of each so far and another baby boy on his way due to arrive in Nov. 2007
We plan on having one more one day, so then if I could choose I would choose to have another girl, that way it would be even and we would have 2 of each.

I had four boys and was grateful for what God gave me - but *if* I had had a *choice* (which I don't believe that I should have had) one at least would have been a girl because it was hard going at times!
