I am 7 weeks pregnant. The ultrasound I had today shows I am 6 weeks and there wasn't a heartbeat. I am going for more bloodwork tomorrow and again on Thursday to make sure the numbers are going up. Is there hope? I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks on Easter of this year. And this pregnancy feels nothing like the last. My doctors assistant said not to worry too much but I am. Any advice??

its not certain yet. at 7weeks the heartbeat can be so faint ultrasound doesnt always pick it up. if you feel different this time it may well be your baby is fine. get lots of rest and try not to be too anxious until you know for sure whats going on. no lifting or travel or anything stressful. also babys position can make the heartbeat harder to pick up.
i wish you all the best and i'm sure your pregnancy will go well this time. good luck.

I had an united statesa. 5weeks 4 days and all that became seen became a Sac and a Yolk Sac. The tech measured the Sac and predicted that i became 5weeks 4 days ( exact on the right music) this is available for her dates to be off and it relatively is the reason the Dr. will re-examine her next week. i will shop my palms crossed for her. At 7 weeks ( if she relatively is) there must be a seen fetal pole and visual heartbeat. If she relatively is 7 weeks and does not have those issues she would be waiting to love miscarry. If she is going lower back and each little thing seems great they must be waiting to degree the fetal pole and tell her approximately how some distance alongside she is.

All of the searches I did on google pretty much say that it is hard to hear a fetal heartbeat until after 6 weeks. They also make reference to your HCG levels and whether or not they are rising. Right now all you can do is pray and wait. Try to relax. Good luck.

It's possible - at 7 weeks, the baby is still very tiny and sometimes hard to get a reading on the ultrasound. I would wait and get the test results back.

you could have your dates wrong, at 5-7 weeks its hard to see the heart. Wait a week and try another scan. Good luck

I can fully understand how you can not stop worrying.

i have had 2 misscarraiges..so..my pregnancies were always very worrisome for me...no matter what i was told.

but..i do know..it is not uncommon to not hear the heartbeat yet..so relax abit for that one.

do you best to be as positive as you can be

hugs and good vibrations sent to you..xx
