I wouldn't think you'd get another if everything is going alright.

With this pregnancy my doctor gave me one at 5 weeks then again at 9 weeks, then I had one at 21 weeks and my next and last one as long as there is no problems will be at 31 weeks. So for me this time a total of 4

I had one at 20 weeks. They measured the baby and everything (4-D ultrasound) looked good so I didnt have anything after that. THey were also able to tell me at that point that I was going to have a boy! (he is 2 yrs old now) :O) Good luck with everything and hope you dont ahve to have any more tests done unless you want them done! :O)

I really think it depends on your doctor. I'm 19w2d and I've had 4. Nothing is wrong, he's perfectly healthy, but my doctor just likes to do them so I have an idea of what my baby looks like and how he is growing. I also have AMAZING insurance which also plays a role in how many I've had.

As other poster mentioned, you may get one more to check position of baby, but typically that would be it. Many women don't even get that because the doc can feel where the baby's head is located.

That depends entirely on your doctor. The first doctor I went to see only gave one at twenty weeks, then I moved, and my new doctor gave them rather frequently, nearly every other visit. If you dont like them, however, you can decline to take them.

the average is 1-2 that is what most insurance companies pay for.(generally on the first appointment, and one the second trimester)
it is up to your doctor and insurance if you need more.
so far i have had them at every visit, because i had twins last time and they missed it, my doctor checks each time to make sure hehe

that is all you get unless there is some problem, insurance does not pay for them, but you can pay for a 3/4d one if you want, its about 100 bucks or so
