Pregnancy - March 2007

I am 16 weeks and I am high risk due to some medication I am on. I was so worried about having a miscarriage before the 12 week mark and I know that the chances dramatically reduce after that but I am just curious to know why some still lose the baby after the first trimester. It's such sad news to hear and I just tend to worry being this is my first baby.....thanks for your comments.

im 14 and i had a baby bout 8months ago and like aftre i had her i didnt have a period but bout 2 months ago i started and hvent stoped and i dont know what to do.

about 2 years ago i had laser treatment for abnormal cells after a smear test,it was at stage 3.now i am 7 months pregnant and the doctor has mentioned that i might not dilate properly because of the scar tissue has anybody else has this treatment and had a natural delivery.

I have a very irregular period. I haven't had it since Oct 2006. I just recently got together with my sons father. Do you think I could get pregnant even if I'm not getting my period like I should be? Plus how do I know if I'm ovulating? I thought when you got your period that mean't you were ovulating.

I had another apt yesterday. My cervix is still "just starting" to soften. The Dr I saw was not my usual dr. He was rough, rude and did not let me ask any questions. I was Not impressed with him. Anyway-I am supposed to be induced April 5. I will be 38w2d. This dr said they wont induce me unless my cervix is cooperative. I am so ready to be done and I am this close and he has to say that. But what my Question is... How ripe or whatever does your cervix have to be b4 they will induce you? He told me and my hubby to have alot of quiet intercourse-Not rough sex and he said that will help. Is there anything else I can do to ensure that I will have a ripe cervix for my induction date??

well I've been feeling the symptoms and I did have the usualy PMS cramps but after I noticed I didn't have the normal flow. Could I still be?
I tested on the day of the period and still negative, is that accurate?

I realize this is a stupid question but, I went to my doc. and since I have been spotting, he was quick to say that it was nothing and that I was indeed not 11 weeks along like I had thought. A pelvic exam had shown that everything was fine, but couldn't find heartbeat yet. Do you not go by your last period??? He says I'm 6 or 7 weeks pregnant, but I found out I was pregnant with a home pregnancy test on Feb. 7th. Do I need another doc???

I just stopped taking birth control about 1 and half months ago. I am not trying to get pregnant so i have been using condoms. 3 days ago, after sex, the condom broke! I usually always have discharge unlease i have my period and i don't have my period. Should i be worried?

I had an ultrasound today and the Nurse mentioned something about "Placenta Legs" I tried to understand her as much as I could, but I still left the hospital a bit confused. I guess it has something to do with my Amniotic Fluid. Will someone please explain or point me to a website that can help me figure this out?

I am almost 32 weeks pregnant and for the last couple days I get these cramps they feel like intestinal cramps like when you get diarrhea(except I do notget diarrhea), they only last a few seconds and then go away. Is this what contractions feel like?? They do not come often ,just a couple times a day

I am young and at times immature, I know that already. But Im very experienced, and Im not meaning sexually really. I am not a virgin. I am not totally naive. Im with someone who is 7 yrs older than I. It was once secretive but now its known. My friends believe I may be pregnant. My periods are abnormal. Im spotting, not have my regular heavy periods. I have frequent headaches and am very easily irritated. Recently its been hurting during sex. It doesnt linger throughout the whole session but mainly when he is first entering. I've been checked for STD's and all of that so I know thats not the problem. Does anyone think all this could be signs of pregnancy..??? I have no children so I have no experience in this area. Also I know I should consult with my doctor, I will. But Im just wanting a word of advice from mothers. Thank you.

I am 5 months pregnant and we have a 6 month black lab puppy. My hubby is a CPA and this is his busy season, so until April 16th, I'm the only one to walk the dog. My mom is concerned that the dog could jerk me while I'm walking him and that could damage the placenta and harm the baby. Do you think this is something I should be concerned with? I tend to think not, but would like some other answers. Thanks.

I might be induced at 36 weeks because my baby is not growing as normal.
If you were induced what was it like? Also if you were induced early did your baby need special care? This is just out of interest, I will not be relying on any of this as medical advice (before any of you tell me off)

i'm not just talking about a back ache, My back hurts really bad, and only on the right side. i try and lay still and that doesn't help. I try and move arround and that doesn't help. I called my doctor and they said i prob just pulled something, but i haven't done anything to pull a muscle. I've taken tylenol but it doesn't seem to help either.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and for the last 2 days or so I have been having these slight cramps in my lower abdomen. I first thought it was gas but I don't think so anymore. It only happens in the late afternoon and the evening. There is no blood at all. Is this normal. Its not really painful more irritating .

im 6 weeks pregnant as of today. This morning at about 10:00 I drunk some tea........35 mins. later I threw it up. I know pregnant women suffer from morning sickness but this is my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy I always felt nauseated but I never threw up not one single time. Why am I throwing up now? Plus I heard that if you get sick a lot while pregnant your having a boy.......is that true or just a myth. Im scared because as I said I never threw up so why is this happening now?

Do the Dr.s give you anything for pain other than an epedorial, i know they wait till you are dialted 4 for it and that just seems like alot of pain in the meantime

My status here is not legal, but im planning to go home soon, but my problem is im pregnant but i do want my baby to be born here and live here, coz the father of my baby is a canadian, but he simply vanished. Is there a chance for me to stay here until my due date, and where could i find help or find foster home for my soon-to-be baby?

I am almost 32 weeks pregnant and I am thinking of leaving work at 37 weeks. It is going to be a struggle with $$$, because I only get paid for the 6 weeks after delivery.
I am already in alot of discomfort sitting at my desk all day and I get no sleep because my back hurts all night(and yes I have the maternity pillow and I see a chirospractor..lol).
I am just wondering what the average time is, did you work til your due date...etc. Any advice would be appreciated :)
