Pregnancy - March 2007

Some people say that they have always become pregnant while on birth control. How and when do they know when they are pregnant if they are still on birth control ? and you're not suppose to take any birth control if you are pregnant. So if you're on birth control and continue to take it, but become pregnant, how would you know? I'm just curious.........i'm not pregnant, but i've just always wondered about this and would like some answers.

Im 16 weeks pregnant and in 5 weeks time due my second u/s but we could go private before that if we want to know the sex of our baby. Im really torn as to wether i want to know. I want to know so I know what to expect, my first daughter was a surprise and it was nice.
Im torn between if we knew what it was the news would be "he has been born" INSTEAD of "its a girl or its a boy"
i dont know part of me wants to know part of me doesnt so thought id ask for a voting thing on here, who would and who wouldnt want to know and why

Lets say the first day of my period is March 31st, and my insurance kicks in April 1st. If I ended up getting pregnant in April, would the insurance cover the pregnancy even though the first day of my period was March 31st?

ok it was me and my boyfriend an like his condom came off not long after we started to .and i'm worried that i could be because after he checked we couldnt find it .like we thought it fell off beside of us or something so he would put another one on.but the next night when i got home i kept having bad cramps not to be nasty but i checked an found it in inside.it still had some white stuff inside but he didnt go then. i guess it was just pre. but i keep having bad stomach cramps.what do you think i should do?i mena could i be pregnant or am i worring to much!

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and after orgasm, my uterus becomes extremely hard. Like a rock. I was wondering if this is safe for the baby and does he know something weird is happening when it gets hard? Does it squish him?

I'm on birth control, on Monday my husband and I had sex, we left on a trip on Friday and I realized I forgot my birth control pills so I missed Friday, and Saturday, could I get pregnant by having sex on that past Monday, even though I had been taking them regulary up until Friday? I looked into an ovulation calandar and if I weren't on bc I would be ovulating starting on Friday. Thanks for your response.

I am 17 and I m 8 weeks pregant, and I have not told anyone. I don't want to go threw this alone, but that is what I am going to do because I don't know who the dad is and even if I did I can't tell them or anyone else because they were two guys I shouldn't have slept with. Im 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant, i saw my doc yesterday around the aftrenoon and i was 1 cm dilated and 50%effaced, she also stripped my membranes and ive been cramping pretty bad since, after taking a nap i used the bathroom and found some mucus plug in the toilet as well as on my toilet paper, it was gooey and brown! still some coming out today! How long til labor? im still cramping and having contractions!could i be dilating more? help please :-)

im 31 weeks pregnant i saw my midwife 2 weeks ago and baby was measuring 33 i saw her today and hes measuring 35 i have had diabtes test and it was ok she has refered me 2 hospital in 2 days time but im worried is this anything to be worried about , my blood pressure is fine no suger in water or protein my blood teats came back fine and i know my dates are correct i knwo the day i conceived my lmp and at my 12 week scan it was right size and at my 18 week scan it was on time but the last 2 weeks hes gone from 29 weeks to 35 weeks can anyone explain this or as anyone else experienced this problem , hes very active and pregnancy is fine apart from im suffering from really bad sciatica which i had before i got pregnant and its worse now , im taking co codomol 30/500 daily 2 help with the pain this is my 2nd baby my first baby arrived at 36 weeks and was a healthy 6lb 10oz , i admit i have been eating sugary foods n drinks thru out my whole pregnancy is there any thing 2 worry about

I had a missed miscarriage in December, I was 13 weeks pregnant and had to have 2 evacuations due to everything not being removed. Since then I have had one period starting on the 22nd Feb and for about the last 2 weeks I have been feeling very nauseous at all times of the day, have been irritable and very weepy and have had a couple of bad headaches. I’ve had a couple of spots of blood since Friday mostly they are brown, sometimes red or pink and yesterday I thought that my period was going to start but there was a tiny amout of very light blood and since then nothing. I'm also having pains (they don't hurt but can't think of a better word!!) in my stomach. I took a pregnancy test last Saturday but it was negative. I don't know if I took it too early or not. What do you think? Thank you for all your help.

what would the chances be of me being pregnant, i had sex February 1st, used a condom, and it was 2 days before my period ended?(it was my first and only time)

the next cycle i had was lighter and shorter than my normal cycle(march 3)...well since that day i had been paranoid of pregnancy, i felt guilty and realize i wasnt ready, well all month i worried and worried, so i was told my stress probably caused that, also i took a urine test at the docs and it came out negative the before i got that light and short period..

well now my next cycle is due to come around and ever since about 2 weeks ago ive been getting lower back pain and pain on my left lower abdomen and sometimes on my right side, pressure on my stomach, and urinating alot, i dont know what to do can it be my nerves still going or what, im just so worried of becoming pregnant thats why i stopped having sex after that one time, i just hope it wasnt too late

i'm 34 weeks, my ex seems to think that cuz he's great wiv other ppls kids (youngest is 4 yrs old) he'll be a fantastic dad and doesn't need 2 learn how 2 change a nappy, how to test bath temp etc. i tried to get him last night to help me with the birth plan thinking that might help, but he said he doesn't care what happens aslong as shes born healthy n im ok. which yea is nice, but i was kinda hoping if i did that he'd realise 'crap, i duno the 1st thing abt a baby!'
he won't get anything 4 her, other than a teddy that is actaully so scarey i cnt hav it in the room @ night! he's acting like a single carefree man evn tho he'll be a dad very soon. he has no job, no money n keeps going to his mum 2 get rent. how can i make him grow up in time to help me with midnight feeds n nappy changes?! everytime i say out right he needs 2 grow up he has a go n storms out! plz help

I want to get my belly button pierced within the next month or so, but plan on concieving within the next month or so also. Should i wait until AFTER my pregnancy to get the piercing or will I be ok if i get it NOW?
