I want to get my belly button pierced within the next month or so, but plan on concieving within the next month or so also. Should i wait until AFTER my pregnancy to get the piercing or will I be ok if i get it NOW?

Get the piercing before and make sure it's totally healed before trying to get pregnant. If you happen to get infected, antibiotics can have bad effects on a fetus, and in fact a professional piercer will likely refuse to do anything on a pregnant woman that opens her to infection. That would be irresponsible.
There's one more thing to consider though: during pregnancy, your stomach stretches so much that your navel actually turns inside out. That piercing is very likely going to have to come out. So all in all, it seems like the best thing to do is wait until you've had the baby, or you may find yourself having to re-pierce after birth anyway.

I'd wait until after the baby.
It can take 6 months to 1 year to fully heal and will probably still feel tender during that time.
Mine healed fine but still felt tender until about 8 months later.
You probably would have to remove your jewelry at some point in your pregnancy and the piercing would most likely close up. Then you'd have to get it redone again after the baby.

if i were u i would wait i had mine done and had 2 take it out when i was about 6 months pregnant as i started to get this little stretch mark and then it turned into a really big one that went up my belly and a couple of little ones that went of to the sides. so if i were u i wouldn't get it done.

my sister got hers pierced just before she got pregnant and now she has this big ugly scar where it was because of her stomach stretching so much during the pregnancy

ya wait till the baby is born otherwise the skin where the jewel is will stretch out alot and then when it goes back to normal it will look really funny

yes, please wait. if i could show you mine you would be understand. it stretched out so bad. i even have a stretch mark down the middle of it and it is now located an inch above where it started. i am sure it will go back to its orginal postion, but i am afaird it is still going to look like crap.

i would wait if you get an infection it could hurt the baby if it's not gone when you conceive, plus it can leave a ugly scar
