I'm 25 weeks pregnant and after orgasm, my uterus becomes extremely hard. Like a rock. I was wondering if this is safe for the baby and does he know something weird is happening when it gets hard? Does it squish him?

Don't worry, that is completely normal. It's just your uterus contracting, it won't hurt your baby :)

Good luck!

At your point in pregnancy many women start experiencing braxton-hicks contractions. They are your body's way of preparing for labor. They help to thin out and efface the cervix. Braxton- hicks contractions are not as strong as true labor contractions and don't progressively grow stronger. This is perfectly safe for the baby.

Your uterus will feel hard after an orgasm because it is contracting. Don't worry though, your baby is perfectly safe.

It is normal, and safe. Baby does not know you are having sex, yes it squishes him, but so do b/h contractions. Your baby will be fine. Women have been orgasming forever while pregnant, in fact, your mother did, and you are ok?

No it's just contracting, and you can feel it now because there's something in there.
