Read the leaflet that comes inside the box, this will give the correct information for the type of pill she's taking

You must take them for 30 days straight w/o missing any before they become fully effective. If she misses one you do run the risk of her becoming pregnant. The are alos ment to be taken within an the same time period each day. No more than an hour or so either way. Read the information packet that should come with the pills. Another thing I suggest if she is anything like me I always forgot about taking my pills when I first started because I wasn't used to it, so now I have an IUD (intrauterine device) an implanted form of birth control that last for 5 years. No worrying about taking a pill everday or being able to afford them every month if you lose health coverage. And after a month your completely protected. The only thing is you have to check and make sure it's still there every month, but so far I've had no problems with it.

It depends on where she is in her cycle. My doctor always tells me to start birth control the sunday after my period starts, even if that is a saturday. If you wait too long (2 or more days) after her period starts, there is the possiblity of the birth control pills not being well into her system and her ovulating, and then becoming pregnant. If she started them at the right time with birth control pills you still have to wait at least 1 full cycle to have unprotected sex to avoid pregnancy.

I'm not sure what an eife is, but you must go at least one complete cycle, which is 28 days. You have sex in 10 days, and your kid will be taking the little bus for the rest of its born days.

you are to wait around a month till you can have unprotected sex for the pill to take full action so until then i suggest using a condom until that period of time is over just to be safe, read the leaflet that should have come with the pill that your wife is taking that will tell you exactly how long is safe to wait for the type of pill she is taking

You're not in the clear until she has taken the pills regularly for 30 days.

You should use condoms or some other form of birthcontrol for the fist full cycle. After that you're ok.

You should wait one full month to have unprotected sex.

It should say so in the info pamphlet that came with the pill.

If I think right you should wait about a month but you could ask your doctor if you would like to be sure.

I think you are meant to wait one whole cycle, so another month.
