Pregnancy - March 2007

I know you aren't all doctors, but I can't get a hold of my doctor right now, I left a message and still no call back. I am experiencing light pain in my lower back sometimes in my abdomen the pain isn't consistant. When the pain ends I feel sick. I have eaten twice already today and have eaten a small snack. I'm not due until May 14th, I haven't ever experienced this with my other pregnancies, so it is new to me. Has anyone experienced this and what was it?

so i had sex for the first time, three days later i bleed for a couple hours then i was done and i already had my period that month they are normally regular should i be worried that i might get pregnat or see a doctor if something is wrong? is this a possiblity.

I have got three children and I think its about to be four. Me and my fiancee had sex with a condom two months later still no period, with my other three children I was sick almost every morning and i felt a metalic taste in my mouth aswell as sore breasts. I don't feel as if I'm pregnant but i think i might be . Do you think theres point in taking a test? Much Love.x

i have a friend whose girlfriend just found out she was pregnant but the thing is she had thoughts that she was before even taking the test and was getting drunk almost everyday. her last period was in january and i am just worried about what he might have to go through.

Hi All, This is my first pregnancy. I am about 5 weeks along and I have no symptoms at all. My nipples are just a little more sensitive than usual and I am peeing more than I usually do but thats it.

I'm really paranoid that I might miscarry, because a lot of people around me have in the past and it always seemed to be their first pregnancy.

My friend told me that if you don't have any symptoms early on in my pregnancy than the chances of me miscarrying are slim.

So my question is, if you have ever miscarried, were your pregnancy symptoms stronger? Did you notice anything different about the miscarried pregnancy and any full term pregnancies you have had.

I want to say that I know this is a sensitive and difficult topic and I don't mean to offend anyone. Thank you so much...

Im 39 weeks pregnant.. a few weeks ago i experienced this, jsut not as bad! When whenever im sleeping, i wake up in the middle of the night.. usually around 2 or 3 with the worst lower back pains that will increase to my sides and stomache. they bring me to tears, so i usually try to go to the bathroom and it helps with the pain in the stomache usually but the back ones are always there still.. So i usually try to lay on all fours to see if maybe its cause of pressure the baby is putting on me.. It helps a little bit and i will be able to fall back asleep but i wake back up within a an hour or 2 with the same pain! I am getting no sleep cause of this and its just stressin me out cause 1 im getting no sleep and 2 it hurts soo bad! but its only happening @ night time though. I will get the same pains when i have to go to the bathroom all of a sudden but thats it!!!

What do you think is going on.. why do you think this keeps happening to me .. And what do u think i could do about it

Ok the past couple days I have been having this discharge, it doesn't smell, or anything like that but it is quite a bit, it is milky looking and a little thicker than normal. No blood or anything. My doc says an increase is normal, but this is just ridiculous and weird looking. I am 38 weeks tomorrow. What is this stuff?

I'm 8 weeks, no morning sickness (yep, i'm one of the lucky ones). I just don't feel anything. I feel regular, the only thing is that i'm tired and i know that i'm pregnant. Anyone else? When did you start feeling that you were pregnant? I'm excited for my next appointment, i'll be 3 1/2 months..., let me know your thoughts :)

With my first child i knew within myself that it was a boy although as the scan drew closer i started to think it could of been a girl although my gut instinct was still saying it was a boy.
I picked up the mosses basket and all the stuff before finding out what i was having and i didnt see untill i got the stuff home that it all had blue on,in the shop i had only seen the creams on the stuff (all matching bath bed blankets etc).

I am carrying my second now and i wont find out till june time the sex of my unborn child.
My gut instinct is saying a boy again although i would like to have a girl so i have one of each
I wouldnt be botherd what i have though so long as it is healthy.

Did any of you out there have gut instints that was correct?

My wife is 8 months pregnant with our first child and has enjoyed the pregnancy. I think she looks absolutely beautiful. Before pregnancy she weighed around 115 lbs, She exercises and is always at the gym. But she has put on about 60 lbs in the past 8 months, which I have no problem with. We were recently at a friend’s birthday . I heard my newlywed friend’s wife say “ She ballooned and she looks like that dress is going to explode, its practically bursting!. Boy she looks like sh*t!!! She spent the night laughing every time she was near us. I am very close with my friend and was very shocked when I heard his wife make this comment My wife didn't hear her, but I decided not say anything.. We have always been very gracious to them, and have taken them away on vacation and out to dinner many times. How do I handle this? I was about to punch her

I am 11 weeks and was involved in a very bad car accident at 7 weeks. I am in a lot of pain but of course will not take anything for it (although the MD prescribed me Loratab!!!!). So, I've been going to a Chiropractor. I've been scared to allow x-rays of my neck! They keep trying to reassure me that a neck x-ray will not hurt my baby! Also, what about lower back adjustments??? I won't allow it! However, I feel my neck getting better and would love to do it if it is safe. The Chiropractor says it is.... Anyone else seeing a Chiropractor? Am I just being paranoid? Of course it is a better alternantive for pain management then chemicals..... I'm just still a little freaked out about it! Whatcha think?

I just had my second child 2 months ago and even though I didn't gain as much weight with him as I did with my first. I still had quite a bit of weight from my first and now I am over 200lbs. I use to weigh 145 before my kids and I don't eat that much and I do aerobic exercise Mon-Fri. I drink plenty of water, but the weight is just not coming off. Any suggestions?

Last night I had my first experience with swollen ankles. Of course I called my mom first and she told me to drink water and put my feet up. I think it helped a little bit, but does anyone have any other advice that may work a little better? I'm only 20 weeks along, and I can't wear sandals for one of my jobs. I don't know if my athletics will fit me when my feet are all swollen or if it will be comfortable. I was hoping I wouldn't get swollen ankles and feet until I was a little further along.

I live in Georgia and wanted to know when was the latest during the pregnacy term to get an abortion? Does anyone know the cost of it? And does planned pregnacy or your gyno do the abortion? I would like respectful answers please!!

I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant, taking my vitamins and eating right. I am not overly active. But I get these terrible dizzy spells. I missed work today because I couldn't get my head off the pillow till a couple minutes ago and I'm still dizzy.

What did you do to help deal with this?

I am about 100 pounds over weight, I should weigh about 130. It's possible that I could be pregnant and was wondering if I should expect complications with my pregnacy if I am and if I could hurt my baby by being this over weight.

I'm reading a lot of conflicting information on here saying that it's not okay. I thought that it was because my doc gave me the go-ahead, but does anyone know what using phenylephrine while pregnant will do? I've been taking it for almost two weeks, and now I'm freaking out!

whether protected or not, no matter what day of the month, how old you are, where he came, where you did it or what color socks you had on while doing it that there is always a chance you can get pregnant?!?
i am so sick of seeing these "am i pregnant?" "could i be pregnant?" is my girlfriend/best friend/sister/cousin neighbor pregnant?" questions...anyone else as sick of it as i am...
